So @Randium is helping set things up with the bots, but he will not have access to anything when we get closer to game time and he will join in as a regular participant. He's the only one of the GMs from the main server invited to the first wave. @ubq323 will help me GM this game.

Galax. Game 2 crowd seeker, built a name for himself in synergy with Jr. Game 3 flute player, first time we realized flute player actually has a chance of winning. If I remember correctly there were only like 4 people left unenchanted when we killed you. Game 6c was an epic assassin who pretty quickly figured out my game when I was being a very sneaky wolf. Everyone invited is either a regularly top notch player or has tried some absolutely crazy creative things, or both.

There are 34 people listed in #deleted-channel . I guarantee not all will accept. That's pretty much the cap.
Might replace people with newer good players down the road, but I have no plans for 100 player games like randium does. This is an exclusive little group
And the first few games at least won't be anywhere close to that- right now only 12 people have been invited.

Essentially I was the psychopath and had a specific list of people to kill. Initially I pretended to be the warlock and fed information to the wolf team of who to kill, but basically told them people of my list. I tried to be careful by finding out the real roles of the people I told them to kill just in case they asked. I also approached the lead group of innocents and revealed the wolves who were on the list and pretended to be the fortune teller
Eventually the act was too hard to keep up, and the wolves killed me

If I were white werewolf, and we had a werewolf reporter, I would let them tell lies to the entire town, then kill them to make it look like they were innocent
Which is why being reporter even for a werewolf isn't very safe

I'll let him tell you about the second one in his own words: Essentially I was the psychopath and had a specific list of people to kill. Initially I pretended to be the warlock and fed information to the wolf team of who to kill, but basically told them people of my list. I tried to be careful by finding out the real roles of the people I told them to kill just in case they asked. I also approached the lead group of innocents and revealed the wolves who were on the list and pretended to be the fortune teller Eventually the act was too hard to keep up, and the wolves killed me BUT OH BOY they fell for it

It wasn't. He had 5 or 6 subtly different versions of the truth for different groups. What made it impressive was 1) that he got away with it for so long - I think about two full weeks, but more importantly 2) that the groups he was navigating significantly overlapped in non-simple ways, making those subtle variations on the two main themes the most important. He was so effective, in fact, that several weeks after the season ended, several surprisingly vocal people still thought he was the warlock for that season.

(B) He asked the crowd seeker to check him again, got seen as the Undead, and got lynched. (C) He did not realise that he should give the targets to the vampires. The vampire team grew too slowly, and he eventually got killed. (D) He walked up to the assassins, revealed himself as the undead, proposed a deal with them to turn the whole town undead and them turn the assassins undead. Furthermore, he gave them the vampires' names to have them get confirmed by the crowd seeker.

He didn't like that in one season (I guess S3/4) he trusted someone and then they betrayed him. So next season he decided he wanted to betray his own team for the sake of it. He was the warlock, but betrayed the werewolves and instead sided with the town

I agree, cannibalism isn't intrinsically a bad thing, if your community follows it as a whole and the 'victims' already know it will happen (they must, since they're of the same community), and every effort was made to prevent the death in the first place, cannibalism is fine

Modern compilers are so good you'd need an absolute genius to write an assembly program faster than what the compiler could do

Ed was a gm primarily because he was handling the bots. He had no intebtion or desire to do other gm things. He stopped handling the bots so he stopped being a gm.
As for inactivity here, it might take a little while to get into the groove and narrow down the participants to the genuinely active and aware, but eventually we should be able to run frequent, intense and active games here, even if I need to do it totally manually

As for running it manually I again offer to run the bot if you need it. It won't be the full bot, just a rudimentary bot handling CCs, sign-ups and polls, but that's the boring part anyways. The reason is that a) running it fully manually is boring b) manually making CCs means that the players have to wait indefinitely, atleast for some time, before the CC is made (edited)

So technically I can tell who made what CC, and who's in every CC, but no more
But I promise not to look at the tracking (besides it would be hard to make sense of SQLITE files)

Despot auto loses from the day they are given the role as they need to hold the mayor position for 3 days, and the game is probably going to end before Day 4 (edited)
