Day 0 | The start of the day In the rather small town of Watrous. Only 12 people lived, and everyone seemed to like it that way. The town was happy, at least for the time being... Hopefully it will stay that way... Night 1 starts in 1 hour @Participant

Night 1 | A peaceful night The sun set on the sky, as the little bit of sunlight lit the last bit of the town. The 12 folks of Watrous, all went to their individual homes, and lit their candles in their windows. 12 candles lit in the town, 12 lit candles Take one down and pass it around, 11 candles lit in the town.... Have a good night everyone @Participant

Day 1 | Murder in the Town Hall As the crimson rays announcing dawn touched the erstwhile pristine marble flooring of the town hall, the town awoke to a grim scene. A deep red pool of blood had stained the marble, and nearby lay the mutilated body of @Crypt Cropt. And yet, he remained among the living for a few moments longer, feeling the life drain away from his body. In these last moments, he pulled out a revolver, ready to shoot @Bartacus Bartington in revenge - but this was not necessary, as @Bartacus Bartington was overcome by despair and cut his wrist, for his lover had been brutally murdered! Was this a mere lovers' spat, or was there a more sinister truth? @Dennis the Menace was clearly of the opinion that the murderer - or perhaps, murderers - still ran free, and suggested that they burn the culprit at the stake, a suggestion met with great enthusiasm, for the sight of blood had awoken the bloodlust long suppressed in their souls. @Wyatt also suggested they elect a @Mayor to oversee matters of the town and aid in finding the culprits, and while this did not evoke as much of a response, no one objected to it, and hence it was decided that both matters would be taken care of at dusk through a fair vote. --------------- @Participant

Night 2 | The slightly delayed night The town finally decided on a @Mayor, and they chose @Leila. They had been the one who had supposedly noticed that @Flint was the evil one, and most likely the person who killed @Crypt Cropt the other night. Hopefully the small town of 9 would be able to continue their normal lives like before, but who knows if @Flint actually was the culprit. CC limit has been increased to 6 --------------- @Participant

Hello there @Participants! I'd like every citizen claim to come forward and defend themselves from being lynched!

Day 2 | The Mysterious Storm Dark clouds covered the town of Watrous, blocking all sunlight and hence preventing the citizens from knowing day from night. This, alas, resulted in their waking much later than usual - late enough that blood covering @Freddy's body had already dried. Knowing full well that they could never learn much about the victims without some sort of proper guidance, they unanimously decided to elect a @Reporter who could investigate the victims' lives in official capacity in order to learn more about the murders that threatened the peace of the town. ---------------- @Participant

Night 3 | Bob the Reporter Ot was the time of day again. People had decided, @Jackson was the one who should die! He was sliced into small pieces and thereafter spread across the fields to make the crops grow nice and big. @Bob the new @Reporter was ready to take care of his new position. Tomorrow he would announce every evildoer in the town, he swore on that! ---------------- @Participant CC limit has increased to 8

Day 3 | A Leader Departs At first, all seemed to be well. After some time, however, the town's citizens noticed that their new @Mayor was missing. Search as they might, the corpse was nowhere in sight. Eventually they abandoned their search and held a memorial in lieu of a funeral - after all, their leader must be honoured. All wept for @Leila, but of course, not everyone's tears were real. Clearly they had to elect a new @Mayor now, and as was customary now, lynch someone in hopes of killing the murderer, or murderers. --------------- @Participant

Night 4 | The Long Dark There were still culprits in the city @Bob shouted, and it must be @Mr. Vigo!!! They shall be hung from the highest point, and thereafter get have their body chopped up into small pieces! The new @Mayor @Steil Jr. nodded in approval, and @Mr. Vigo was thereafter executed! This was not the last death in the town, everyone knew that... --------------- @Participant CC limit has increased to 10

Night 4 | The Night Before The newly appointed @Mayor @Steil Jr. calmly lies on their bed, playing Animal Crossing New Horizons with songs from their Vocaloid's playlist muting any sound that emanates from the @Mayor 's Nintendo Switch. A certain virtual frog villager named Henry buzz on the screen, 'Thank you for your help today Rep! See you tomorrow!', the screen shuts off. "Right, see you tomorrow", muttered while they put off their Switch and look upon their ceilings that have been painted with instructions in case they die tonight. "Peace shall be restored to this town, with or without me" ---------------- Get ready for the grand reveal tomorrow, citizens!

Day 4 | The Attack on the Press All those lynches, all the investigation, everything was in vain as the new day brought to light yet another murder. This time @Bob was the unfortunate victim, having been suffocated - although no one knows how the murderer could have pulled it off - and left to the dogs in a desolate alley. All this death was proving rather tiresome, but the town must keep lynching in the hopes of finally stopping the murders. They could also elect a new @Reporter, although no one felt this would actually be helpful. --------------- @Participant(edited)

Day 4 | The Lynchening 2.0 : Electric Boogaloo An Aura Teller might be capable of predicting someone's Aura, but sadly it wasn't capable of predicting said person's future because instead of @Mayor @Steil Jr.'s demise, it was @Reporter @Bob who instead were found dead on their bed by other residents this morning. Fret not, the Aura Teller manages to do a check before playing Animal Crossing New Horizon last night, and behold! Citizen Wyatt's aura turns out to be a threat! You know what to do fellow residents, for the peace of Watrous, once and for all! ---------------- @Participant lynch poll on Wyatt, reporter poll on Dennis (or whatever because game's supposed to be over after this)

Night 5 | The 3 musketeers The whole town... or at least the ones alive all began shouting! "It is the @Mayor! They are the culprit!" The new @Reporter @Dennis the Menace then decided that he would handle the execution on his own. He grabbed his trusty lumber axe and with one swoop. It was swung into the middle of @Steil Jr.'s stomach! They let out a huge scream as the pain spread across his body. The blood running to the ground... @Steil Jr. fell to the ground, and the axe made a clunk on the ground. "I... I am... not the culprit... sigh" and then they died... --------------- @Participant

Midnight 5 | Game Over It was just a short while after the death of the poor Mayor that Dennis heard a strange noise. He ran outside to find out what was going on, his indignant complaints echoing down to street level. When he finally burst through his front door, it was only to freeze in shock. There in the street, most of the way through a horrific transformation into something not remotely human, was the last person he would ever suspect to be his murderer...... His neighbour, Ruby. Dennis' terrified scream caught in his throat. The last thing he saw was Ruby's demonic grin, full of far too many teeth. When Wyatt woke up the next morning, he would step outside, stretch out his arms and smile at the sun. He would call out to his friend Dennis, and when he got no reply, turn around to look for him. He would find someone else wearing his blood like a mantle of state. And he would scream and cry, but he would still die. Wolves win!
