Day 0 | Welcome to New Wolvenden! It was early evening as a series of cars pulled up to the gates of the New Wolvenden Opera House. Famed across the country for its beautiful architecture and incredible performances, the invitation sent out to its top patrons by the owner of The Porcelain Opera Company, @cryptidjay, was not rejected by anyone. As the esteemed personages filed in, they were greeted by the three chief soloists of the new opera themselves, alongside de Castelle, @Mjnstag (an ex-Soprano and the singing coach) and the Conductor. It was going to be a unique experience for them all...
I hope you have a wonderful time! @Esteemed Guest/Performer

Night 1 | Oh so sleepy The @Esteemed Guest/Performer were really excited to attend the opera tonight as the Porcelain Opera Company was famous for its performances. And great the performance was. Even @Lord of Galaxy, who was known for not showing much emotion in public, needed to wipe away a tear. However great the performence was, some could not help but notice the pale figure that sometimes appeared in the corner of their eye, and which would be gone as they turned to look at it. Sadly enough, even great things needed to end. As the last moments of the perforance came, a soft singing voice could be heard which sang over betrayal, blood and the end of all. Eventhough the guest were horrified by the story that was sang to them, they could not help but slowly fall asleep.

Day 1 | Death at the Opera Slowly, as a church bell chimed in the distance, the guests dragged their ways into consciousness. All except one. It was Sir Dennis who first spotted the alto soloist's corpse. He let out an ear-splitting shriek. The others quickly gathered around the body - it seemed to have been strangled. The apparent murder weapon, a white silk scarf, lay draped over Leila's eyes. Just then, Julien and Martina came rushing into the room. When they saw the body, Julien burst into tears. "I was going to have you all choose a Patron-in-Chief today, but one of you must also pay for this!" The guests exchanged fearful glances. They had to find the murderer before they struck again...

Night 2 | Dead mans rythm As the @Esteemed Guest/Performer came together, an argument started on who should be punished and who should get @mayor. After a long debate it was decided that @Alice Howlter was the best choice for the role, and that @federick should get punished. As this was decided, @federick started going white as he started to tap his feet to an unknown rythm. The people surrounding him did not expect this and slowly backed away as the rythm slowly changed. The people watched as @federick's face started to become even more pale as he started to sing, the same song that was heard yesterday. The only difference was that this time, new lines of text were added to the song, lines that told of the bloody end of @federick drick himself. As the song slowly died out, so did the person singing it. Just before he hit the ground, the now almost lifeless eyes of @federick started to intensely stare at the newly appointed @Patron-in-Chief. "I hope you will enjoy the last of your days", could be heard from @federick' mouth with a voice not his own, as he hit the ground with a bang. (edited)

Day 2 | Oh Shit Not Again Once again, the guests woke with the chimes of a distant bell. While they were hoping for no more deaths, half of them expected to find Alicia's body after Fédé's terrifying threat the day before. So it came as a shock to them when the woman in question could be found standing over Lord Gerard Xiu's corpse, trembling with a hand over her mouth. It was clear she had just discovered it. The guests could not even scream, number by horror as they were. It seemed poor Gerard had suffocated on his own blood; his windpipe had been impaled with something very, very sharp. Next to him was a white stiletto heel, its bottom half coated in blood. Martina hurried in and led his wife away from the scene. As he left, he cried, "The murderer is not yet dead? We shall have to hold another punishment!" "Perhaps we should have a Columnist to make notes on all these deaths as well," mused the baritone soloist. His husband nodded, as did the rest of the guests.

Dear @Esteemed Guest/Performer, Glad to be your @Patron-in-Chief, thanks to our beloved bakers. Now, the plan for today is to make @SpikedJackson our @Columnist and to lynch @Steinator, as he was seen as Wolf by our Fortune Teller. Besides that, I wish you all a great time at the opera. Signed, Alicia de Howlter

Night 3 | Revenge of the Vampyre Once again, it neared the time for punishment – and it looked like it was the turn of the Tenor Soloist. His husband was clinging on to him, teary eyed. Even Alicia, the Patron-in-Chief, felt uncomfortable punishing Flynn when she saw Victor’s sorrow, but she knew it had to be done. Just as she stepped forward with a ceremonial sword she had found, ready to do the deed, she was halted by the sound of the first notes of a tune the guests knew far too well. Victor scrambled away from his husband in fear as Flynn began the cursed tune. Looking into his eyes, everyone could tell he was in agony. “No! I cannot stand this!” cried Mrs. Ruby, and a gasp rippled through the crowd as she rushed forward, grabbed the sword from Alicia’s hands, and sprang at Flynn. He collapsed, blood spurting everywhere, as the sword was rammed through him again and again and again, Ruby futilely trying to release him from his misery. But he couldn’t stop singing. In one final, desperate bid to kill him, Ruby tore open his throat with her own teeth. The room went silent, interrupted only by Ruby’s quiet, spasming sobs as her brother? husband? (why is there an incest plotline anyway what the fuck guys) led her gently away, and the scratching of a pen against a notepad. It was the Conductor’s, as he had just been elected Columnist, and had to record all the deaths, no matter how gruesome. Slowly, the crowd filed away, until only a brokenhearted Victor was left with the body.

Good evening @Esteemed Guest/Performers, Your @Patron-in-Chief speaking, with the results from our own @Columnist @SpikedJackson. @Leilaboo was a Citizen, poor girl. @Lord of Galaxy was, of course, Baker, may he rest in peace. And now on to the good news: We got 2 wolves killed! 🥳 @federick was Wolf, glad we got rid of him. @Steinator was also Wolf, another lynch well spent. Now relax, we got this under control. Have a great night! Your sincerely, Alicia de Howlter

Day 3 | Dead of a vampire It was early in the morning as @Alice Howlter went to get the ceremonial sword from @Rubyleafeon2080 by, after arriving at @Rubyleafeon2080's room, she noticed a weird wet sound when stopping at the door. Thinking nothing about it, she knocked on @Rubyleafeon2080's door. When nobody opened the door, she decided to open it herself. When the door opened, she needed to close her eyes to shield them from the bright light in the room. When she could see again, she noticed what made the wet sound. It was blood, but whose? After looking around the room, she saw @Rubyleafeon2080 on the ground, impaled by a wooden baton. It seems that someone used it as a stake. As @Alice Howlter stood there shocked, @Rubyleafeon2080's eyes slowly opened. After seeing @Alice Howlter , a small sad smile could be seen on her face as she said: "It appears that even vampires can die, wait for me @Steinator, I will soon follow you..." "Who did th...", asked @Alice Howlter, but before she could finish her sentence, @Rubyleafeon2080's eyes slowly closed for the last time. After yelling for the @Esteemed Guest/Performer to come, she said: "Someone will be punished for this! We should get a @Most Honoured Personage to help guard ourselves against this evil!" (edited)

Good day, @Esteemed Guest/Performer, Well, ain't this obvious? We got the last of the evil confirmed. Sadly enough, our beloved Fortune Teller, @Rubyleafeon2080 was killed. But now, we got it all under control. The last of the evils is @VoidMist and his accomplice, @PsychoBelp. Today we lynch @VoidMist and we make @Dennis our @Most Honoured Personage! Have a great rest of the day! Yours truly, Alicia de Howlter

Night 4 | The Final Soloist It wasn’t even evening yet when a strange, mournful singing drew Sir Dennis to the dressing room of the last soloist standing, Victor Miste. “What are you doing?” he asked, confused as to why Victor should be practicing now of all times. “Tonight will be my last ever performance,” he smiled sadly. “I want to make it worth it. I want to make my husband proud, wherever he is.” And so the night fell. As the dreaded hour approached, the guests gathered in the pits in front of the stage. Even Julien was there, though they had been reclusive since that very first day, leaning heavily on Martina. Only Victor was missing. When the clock struck, a figure dressed in familiar pale clothing strode out onto the stage. It was Victor, wearing his outfit from the original opera, and the tune had already consumed him from the looks of things. The audience could only watch in horror as the awful song ripped through his throat until he was coughing blood. At the last moment, he fell from the stage, only to be caught by Sir Dennis, who got the opportunity to view Victor’s death throes up close. It was not, he confided later to Alicia as she awarded him Most Honoured Personage for his dead, an experience he wanted to repeat. Julien broke down as soon as Victor’s body stopped convulsing, the death of their only remaining soloist too much for them. It seemed all they could do was grip onto Martina as they were lead out of the room. The guests hoped this terrible ordeal was nearly over.

Day 4 | Curtain Call The New Wolvenden Opera House was eerily quiet. To all those within, something seemed ever-so-slightly off, as though there was a disconnect between it and the outside world. Indeed, at some point all the clocks had stopped ticking – but, though they had all been correct the afternoon before, they all now showed different times. It was exactly twelve minutes and twelve seconds (though who was counting?) after all the clocks stopped that the whole group of guests was woken from a restless slumber by the ragged scream of Alicia de Howlter – and the gunshot that followed rapidly after. As they all rushed to her room, they found her sprawled across her rapidly darkening bedsheets with a white-handled knife sticking out from between her ribs. It seemed it had pierced her lungs, and she was struggling for breath. A long bloodstain streaked downwards on the opposite wall; at its culmination was the very dead body of Sir Polonius – it appeared Ruby had had her revenge, as the bullet had embedded itself just where one would expect to see a vampire’s bite mark. The crowd parted as Martina strode into the room. “Martina, my love, I am-“ began Alicia, but she was cut off with a shake of Martina’s head. “Call me Maria,” he – she? – interrupted. She turned away from the body as it heaved its final breath, and in her triumphant smirk and confident posture, everyone remaining could see the pale figure that had haunted their peripherals from that very first day. It was impossible not to recall the story of Maria Jonsteug, The Porcelain Opera Company’s star soprano who had suffered a tragic accident whilst performing in the finale of its most infamous opera, a story of betrayal, blood, and the end of all.
“Maria?” gasped Julien from where they leant against the door frame. “Julien,” Maria smiled, but it was chilling, wrong. “After all these years, I have returned to you – only to find you had forgotten me with the help of your other soloists.” Contempt was evident in her voice. “But of course, I know that I am all you need.” “So this was all you?” muttered Mr. Yacht incredulously. “Of course. To help Julien realise that our love is ultimate, I had to eliminate any distractions. So I used a few assistants to help me. Of course, there were a few sad casualties, but it was worth it, don’t you think, Julien?” Julien did not seem to agree. They were shaking their head frantically and close to tears. “You’re not Maria. Maria would never have wanted this.” Maria walked forward. “Oh, but I am. Don’t worry, darling, everything will be alright soon.” She took another step, until she was right in front of Julien – and started desperately clawing at her throat, where they had looped Leila’s scarf around her neck and pulled tightly. It was all over in seconds. The crowd stared in muted horror at the three bodies lying limp on the bedroom floor, then, as one, turned and walked out of the room, out of the Opera House, hoping never to return again. Unbeknownst to them all, the clocks all started ticking once again, miraculously keeping perfect time (though not a time you or I could ever understand). Townsfolk win!
