In general, you will get a small point penalty if you have a LW score >50 in a pack. The more players and the longer in this pack, the more severe it gets. And the higher over 50 as well. However, if you feel like being in a pack, you can always use the "knowledge transfer" action. (e.g. to reach 50 LW and 50 AW; this would give you neither a penalty nor a bonus in a pack).

You switch from the pack formula to the LW formula

For lone wolves (i.e. players in a pack with only 1 member): (HUNGER * 2) + (HEALTH * 2) + (# of consecutive phases alone * 0.25 * LW)

So for you: 14 * 2 + 12 * 2 + (0 * 0.25 * 30) => 28 + 24 + 0 => 52

For pack canines (i.e. players in a pack with more than 1 member): (HUNGER * 2) + (HEALTH * 2) - ((# of wolves in pack + # of phases in pack) * 0.25 * (LW - 50))

So in a 10 player pack like Potato's: 14 * 2 + 12 * 2 - ((10 + 2) * 0.25 * (30 - 50)) => 28 + 24 - (12 * 0.25 * (-20)) => 52 - (4 * (-20)) => 52 - (-80) => 52 + 80 => 132 The baseline is your 52 (health and hunger) and it's either scaled by the magnitude of your LW score (and for how long you've been alone) OR the amount of wolves, how long you've been there, and how low your LW score is. I hope that makes it a bit clearer
