Priest [Townsfolk Killing]

Basics

Each night, the Priest may use their holy water on a player. If that player is a lycan, that player will be attacked. Otherwise, the Priest risks their own death.

Details

If the targeted player is a lycan, they are attacked. If they are townsfolk-aligned, the Priest dies. If they are not lycan and not townsfolk-aligned, the target isn't attacked and both the Priest and the target live. Using holy water on a player is an end-night ability.

One question I have is how do the disguises work. I saw varying degrees of them. I’m assuming it’s for “seer type” checks

Yep, so a role category that exists is investigative, these roles can do a range of checks from alignment to role. Different disguises effect roles differently, some are not effected at all others are only effected by some.

Basics

The Mayor can post in #story_time. When the number of living players are two-thirds of the total players or fewer, the Mayor receives an extra vote in polls. When there are more living players than that, each night, the Mayor instead chooses whether a second lynch will take place during the next day.

Details

The Mayor's extra vote cannot be nullified, stolen, or removed under any circumstances. If the Mayor would normally have a negative vote, the extra vote becomes a negative vote too. The Mayor may choose to resign at any point during a phase, but will only lose the role at the end of the phase. Choosing a double lynch is an immediate action. If the number of living players are no more than two-thirds of the total players, the Mayor immediately gains the extra vote and loses the ability to choose whether there is an additional lynch. If this happens after they have chosen to have an additional lynch, but before the lynch poll occurs, the additional poll will still be created. The Mayor gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Mayors.

That is a powerful role. I have checked in occasionally and realized a vote was going on. I didn’t want to be killed for a lack of vote so I posted a vote when I could. But I have been swamped with work

Town trusted is just the name given to the group of people most likely to be town, they are normal made up of people who have been cleared or are the most likely to be telling the truth

What are laboratory members and I’m curious how I missed they are outed

So it was Ghost, Sin and sharl, one is a wolf, one is town and the other is the Mad Scientist. Sin claimed MS (Mad Scientist) straight away but died last night. If they were telling the truth the other 2 would have died too. Ghost has not claimed Mad Scientist, where sharl has making it sharl

No, only a few roles are revealed when they die, most are unknown. The reporter however can see dead people's roles privately
