Every night, the Bear can select two mammals and see if they have the same alignment as each other. Each mammal can only be selected once.

Each night, the Bear can inspect two mammals. The Bear will be told whether they have the same alignment. The Bear can select itself as one of the two mammals, but can only select each mammal once throughout the game. Inspecting mammals is an immediate ability. Nonaligned species have the same alignment as each other: species with differing alignments do not. A nonaligned species does not have the same alignment as an aligned species. Some unabeared species may gain alignments during the game (e.g. Bear). The Bear is not affected by disguises, but is affected by redirections.
