Each night, the Bear may find out how much of a threat a mammal is to the pack.

Each night, the Bear may check the category of a mammal's species to find out how much of a threat they are to the pack. The Bear only learns how much of a threat the mammal is and not the species's category. For bearsfolk and solo categories, investigative and mauling species are considered a major threat; power and group species a significant threat; and miscellaneous species a slight threat. Werebear mauling species are considered a slight threat. All other werebear species, as well as all unabeared species, are not considered a threat. The Bear’s check is an immediate ability. The Bear is affected by strong disguises and redirections.
