Each night, the Saboteur Wolf may select one player to disqualify from the public election poll.

Details

Each night, the Saboteur Wolf may select one player. That player can still be voted for in the election poll in the following day phase, but should they win, nobody is elected. The selected player can still be lynched and can still vote in the election poll. The Saboteur Wolf may not sabotage the same player two nights in a row, but can sabotage themself or others in the wolfpack. Sabotaging is an immediate ability.

By the way, you can randomize a target with $roll and it will give you a random player, if you are unsure who to target. Though, you wouldn't want to sabotage the wolfpack members, so probably running $roll bl :stuck_out_tongue: :art: :cupcake: :roll_of_paper: :identification_card: would exclude all wolfpack members.

As your mentor, I would recommend you to talk in #town-square. It'll make you appear more towny, and then you can of course also talk and discuss your ability or your fake-claim with the other wolves in #wolfpack.

Yeah, okay, so I'm pretty sure we got it changed. For future reference you can react with the player's emoji - less ambiguity. Or if you want to do full name, you need to do it exactly as their username (jeand.arch or as their nickname with quotation marks if they have spaces "Jean D. Ash"). You didn't actually typo, but since there were no quotes, it only read Jean and found it to be closer to Ocean. Oh well, it's a bit confusing for the first time, I will admit - I always do emotes

Also a useful tip for these situations: Right after submitting a player, you have about a minute to review your prompt. In that time, you can check if you've submitted the correct player and cancel the prompt if you see something wrong with it.

That's very understandable! If you have any terms that are unclear / that nobody has explained feel free to ask about them here and we will help out as well People like to use a lot of abbreviations that are not super clear

Also, what sometimes can help out, especially when people abbreviate names is to run the info command $info <term/abbreviation> and with some luck its something the bot is familiar with

As a general rule this is probably believable as a new player, but it's actually a big tell that somebody might be wolf if they're very quiet. A good way to participate for new people without really giving anything away is to ask why things are happening. E.g. why are we electing/lynching ...? (and potentially ask follow up questions) - this works best during the day of course. Trying to understand what is going on / being curious is generally towny.
