Basics

The Malamar can manipulate a pokemon's votes in the next day's public polls.

Details

Each night, the Malamar may select a pokemon and a number of votes (-1, 0, 1, or 2). The next day, the selected pokemon has the chosen vote value instead of their usual value. The number of votes replaces the pokemon's vote, it is not additive. However, special votes, like the Aerodactyl's vote, are not affected. Manipulating a vote is immediate. The Malamar may manipulate a member of the Rocket HQ. The Malamar may communicate with their chosen pokemon in a whispers channel until the start of the following night. The Malamar is a villainous pokemon and also part of the pack. The Malamar is not affected by redirections.

It also knows the list of players and a random list of roles that fit the players

It needs something to guess, which means it needs role claims

So all it really has to do is connect the dots

And reporter info can help too ofc

I'm not sure you understand that we took away the big "claims are needed" because of the player and role list it now gets

Plus I feel like the limited list of players and roles are extra information that benefit town even more than the old version

Like I dont think wolves can offer it much towards winning. And if they give away their roles it'll role block them and that info might reach town trusted
