Each night, the Apothecary may poison a player, killing them at the end of the next night. Alternatively, they may cure the player they last poisoned. Poison is applied at start day, so the Apothecary will only poison a player if the Apothecary survives the night.

The guardsman may go on guard once at night. If attacked, they survive and counterattack the attacker. If they kill a good pumpkin-aligned player, the Guardsman is informed and dies at the end of the next night.

The Bear wins by correctly matching species to mammals. Each day, the Bear may either guess one mammal's current species or learn the final species of a dead mammal. Each night, the Bear must submit a species list containing predetermined species and mammals.

Each night, the Bear may check one mammal’s species. This is affected by weak disguises and redirections.
