D0 - Welcome to the Forest

Ah yes, the forest! Who doesn't like it? Trees, shrubs, flowers, mosses, birds, arthropods, mammals, and so much more! They all make up this beautiful, deeply intertwined ecosystem where organisms work together, but also against each other in the name of competition and survival of the fittest. Oh well, we hope that all of you plants enjoy your stay in this beautiful forest and happy growth! @Participant @Mentor

N1 - When the Sun Sets

Night sets in our wonderful forest. Our dear plants go peacefully to sleep. Do they even know what roams the forest at Night? Hopefully they all awake tomorrow! @Participant @Mentor

D1 - The Sun Rises

The sun has an incredibly important role in maintaining forests. As most of you will know, you rely on photosynthesis to get your fix your energy source. Seeing the sun rise is always a joy. However, it would appear that the @Cherri tree unfortunately did not make it through the night: The lack of sun must've got to them. You may now take this opportunity to elect the chief plant of the forest, @Mayor, the one that is the most important in maintaining the forest ecosystem. N2 - Why Does the Sun Set

Oh great elder plant @St. Jeefhn's wort, we welcome you as our chief plant, @Mayor, with you here as our leader we have nothing to fear. Our forest shall be safe for now. It also appears that @Luffy-of-the-valley was left to dry up as the other plants decided they were an invasive species. D2 - Fungal Infection or Sinply Coincidence?

It appears that @Oakcean, a usually resilient tree, hasn't made it through the night. Is there some kind of fungus or other pest going around the forest? Or is this anthropogenic intervention? Humans love oak timber, just take a look at Minecraft. You will have the opportunity to dispel two plants from the forest and elect another one @Reporter, the all-knowing plant. @Participant @Mentor

N3 - The Forest Has Spoken

The plants of the forest have decided. It appears that @Beechscy and @Strycamure have committed the unforgivable sin of being invasive species of this very forest. At least those seem to be the accusations that have gotten them dispeled from the forest. Maybe @Spruceclaire out new all-knowing plant, @Reporter , can share some of their vast knowledge with the other plants. Tldr: @Beechscy and @Strycamure are Lynched @Spruceclaire is elected @Reporter @Participant @Mentor

D3 - A New Forest Extinction

It is with regret that @Kaldermoor has become extinct without the forest. It would appear that he could not withstand the competition exerted by invasive species. However, the plants of the forest may punish those by exiling 2 species they believe to be invasive. Additionally, the may elect a @Guardian, a sort of protective plant. @Participant

N4 - Protector of the Forest

It appears that @Jean D. Ash a new protective protector plant, @Guardian , has appeared to protect its fellow plants from invasive species. The plants also decided that @Jayniper and @Marrplefish time was up and were removed from the forest. Tldr: @Jayniper and @Marrplefish are lynched. @Jean D. D4 - Flowers Wither

Both the @Wood Aliimone & the @St. Jeefhn's wort have appeared to wither. Is this a consequence of canopy closure by the much larger trees? Or have the invasive species spread, taking nutrients away from them and changing soil conditions? I suppose only time will tell. Additionally, @Crowtherslip has spread all across the forest and ascended due to its efficient propagation and adaptability! Wow, that is truly exemplary. Today, you may vote to elect the most important plant, @Mayor. What plant executes the most important ecosystem services? Additionally, you may rid yourself of a particularly nasty invasive plant. @Participant

N5 - When Has it last Rained

@Ivyncitank seams to have not been able to get enough water to survive and ended up drying up. The competition for water is fierce in this forest. It also appears that @Spirndtle nominated themselves for the position of most important plant, @Mayor . Due to unforeseen circumstances it appears that no one was chosen as the most important plant, @Mayor . Maybe you can try again our dear plant, if you're still residing in our forest of course. Game End - And So the Invasive Species Have Been Removed

Despite @Dogwootd's best efforts to rid the forest plants of their natural diversity, by e.g. causing @Hazelkaty & @Firntom to go extinct, they themselves have been expulsed from the forest ecosystem by the native species. The forest is now back in perfectly good harmonial balance. Game over Townsfolk & Detective win @Participant @Dead Participant @Mentor

Given Detective's influence on the balance of the game, what weighting should this game be assigned.
