I'm also the town waiter, I got food last night and ate it. Arch confirmed they were the Chef. I ask them to write a message and end it in "lol" in the restaurant, which they immediately did in town-square.(edited)

I ate the food, because I tried to bait a kill by openly refusing to vote for Katy if Angel (thus implying that I was a powerful role). No idea whether it worked or whether it was even a good play, but that was my thought process.
Could be possible considering Dog/Cat adds a Wolf + if there are a lot of strong wolf roles/packless roles, but the wolf numbers do seem weirdly low, so meh.

3 Pyromancer seems more logical to me too, but that's also quite a bit.
Yeah, but he could also be scum, no? I mean, you have more info than me, but I just know that he's a good player as wolf too. Either way, him not wanting to be Guardian is quite towny.
The Fortune Apprentice will take the place of the first town investigative role to die, turning into their role, but will not learn their identity nor the results of their checks.
During Night 1, the Dog must choose to align with either the townsfolk or the werewolves. During later nights, they may check one player's role.
Details
If the Dog hasn’t chosen before the night ends, they will align with the townsfolk.
After Night 1, the Dog can inspect a player each night. The Dog will be told what their role is.
Choosing a team to align with and inspecting a player are immediate abilities. The Dog is affected by weak disguises and redirections.
The Dog is nonaligned until it aligns with a team.
