Bear [Solo Power - Flute Team]

Basics

Each night, the Bear may enchant a certain amount of mammals. If all living mammals are either enchanted, unabeared or Flute team/channel members, the Flute team wins.

Whenever a mammal is enchanted, they will immediately join a secret channel with the other enchanted mammals, but without the Bear(s). The Bear(s) may see everything said in this channel, from the safety of their own secret channel. If an enchanted mammal uses a species investigation, they will have a 60% chance that the mammal is displayed as a Bear, and a 40% chance for the inspection to happen normally, whenever they attempt to inspect a mammal. This effect will disappear once no members of the Bear channel or team remain. The mammals remain enchanted, but their investigations are no longer obstructed. The Bear is able to enchant 1 mammal for every ten mammals in the game (rounded). They may not enchant a member of the Flute team or channel. If there is more than one flutist mammal, each Bear will only be able to enchant 1 mammal for every twenty mammals in the game (rounded). The amount of mammals used is the amount of mammals that are part of the game, not the alive mammals.

If there are multiple Bears, then they are one team, and they will work together. If a Bear loses their species, they will lose their ability to enchant mammals. Species changes are not revealed to the other Bears. It is never revealed to the Bears how many or which mammals have been enchanted.

Bear [Solo Investigative - Flute Team]

Basics

The Bear is a bear that can’t enchant other mammals; instead, they have the ability to charm one mammal each day, learning their species and disguising them as bear. The Bear becomes a bear if no other flute team species remain.

Details

During the day, the Bear may charm a mammal, the charmed mammal is not informed about this. This action is immediate. Successfully charming a mammal will tell the Bear their targets species, and weakly disguise them as bear afterwards. This result is affected by all disguises and redirections. This effect (including the disguise) will disappear once no members of the bear channel or team remain. The mammals are not told when the effect disappears. When a mammal is both charmed and enchanted, the charmed status and disguise is removed. The Bear can target themself or other members of the flute team. If no other flute team species remain, the Bear turns into a bear and loses their current powers.

The Bear has a secret channel where they can talk. Every message in that channel will be sent anonymously in the tavern chat. If the Bear loses their species, they lose their ability to anonymously talk in the tavern chat. The Bear is often used together with the Bear, in which case it is important for the Bear to remain hidden.

Apothecary [Townsfolk Killing]

Basics

Each night, the Apothecary may poison a player, killing them at the end of the next night. Alternatively, they may cure the player they last poisoned.

Details

The Apothecary starts the game with three flasks of poison and a single antidote. When the Apothecary poisons a player, that player will be killed at the end of the next night (this is not an attack). Poison is applied at start day, so the Apothecary will only poison a player if the Apothecary survives the night. Instead of poisoning a player, the Apothecary may also use their antidote to cure the player they have previously poisoned, saving them from death. Players are not notified of being poisoned or cured. Both actions are immediate abilities.
