Story Time - Day 0

Day 0 | The long voyage

"Ahoy, my mateys! For it has been a long journey, but we are almost there!" The Republic of Pirates creeps in view over the mercy Walters with @Benjamin Hornigold ship the Ranger and her majestic arsenal standing guard. "Tonight will be a celebration for we have arrived! The Jolly Rogers shall soon rule this land! Tomorrow, the best pirates from all over will sail to join us! But do not let us be too careless, as the British and Spanish fleets will come for us. But we shall be ready, ready to sink their ships and take what gold they have." Tomorrow would be the start of something great, the first pirate assembly. Some of the greatest pirates, their ships and captains will soon grace this land with their presence. Night 1 | The First Pirate Assembly

Famous pirates from all lands and backgrounds gather at the newly founded Republic of Pirates. @Blackbeard from England, @Zheng Yi Sao from China, @Roche Braziliano from Groningen, and so many more. @Benjamin Hornigold gathers the crowd and speaks "What we have made is truly Legendary. The most fearsome scourges of all the seas, under one banner, this calls for celebration!" "But let us not be arrogant, the British would never allow this country to remain in permanence. That is why we celebrate now, for tomorrow we begin preparations." @Participant @Mentor (edited)

Day 1 | Never trust a pirate!

The sun was well and truly up before the first sailor arose from the night of partying. @Anne Bonny was one of the first to wake up, as she had a bone to pick with @Mary Read, who had stolen her licker! Before they found each other, they noticed something odd @Blackbeard gold store was open and his ship alight! @Samuel Bellamy's ship could be seen sailing off at high speed. Gold visible on the deck! Pirates rushed to put out flames on @Blackbeard boat, but to no avail as it went down, captain and all! During the chaos, @William Dampier found @John King body, lying still within their cabin, for it looked like they had died during the night? Was this just an unlucky incident or foul play? Rumour had it that the British were close and would be here within a week. @John "Calico Jack" Rackham, knowing there was not much time to prepare, ordered people to start stocking cannons and building defences. A @Mayor of the republic should be elected! They will find themselves responsible for the deaths, for they must be British spies! We should lynch the spy today and leave them hanging like the British do to us! @Participant @Mentor TLDR @Samuel Bellamy Accended during the night @Blackbeard and @John King died

Night 2 | The British Approach

"@Christopher Moody is always sleeping!" Claims @William Dampier, "Surely they must be a spy! Trust me guys, I just know these things." Baffled, @Jean Lafitte interjects " That's ridiculous, preposterous even, I don't like those claims, not one bit! For all I know it could be you!" @Charles D. Vane speaks up, "I hate the British, I could never be a spy, right @Charles B. Vane?", to which @Charles B. Vane responds, "Uh sure, whatever you say boss." @Jean Bart calls out, "I see the British on the horizon, there's no time! Just let me be in charge and everything will work out." Day 2 | Who, What, Where, Why?

What a night, multiple pirates stayed up late preparing for the British, their ships now clear on the horizon. @Jean Bart was busy barking orders. During all the chaos someone set fire to the gunpowder store! Explosion erupted from the cabin sending wood flying everywhere, a piece of wood flew across the island hitting @Christopher Moody square in the chest killing them instantly! As the dust settled 2 last boats pulled into sure, one captained by @Klaus Störtebecker, just in time too as @Jean Bart was injured in the explosion and would be unablento continue as @Mayor so passed the duties on to @Jean Bart The other ship was headed by @Davy Jones who was searching though the mess and found @Roche Braziliano. While searching though the mess @Anne Bonny found the body of @huckhuck55. "I've had enough of you impersonating me!" exclaims @Charles D. Vane as he throws @Charles B. Vane overboard. "There's only room for one Charles Vane, and its me" Meanwhile, @Abraham Blauvelt took charge, wanting to push the Bri'ish back, he was appointed inventory manager. He valiantly fought but thought that @Bartholomew Roberts was being suspicious. Calling this out, he made roberts walk the plank to his doom. (Sharl reporter, ghost and basscy lynched)

Story Time - Day 3

Day 3 | The first cannonball!

As the sun rose above the horizon, the first ships under the command of @Abraham Blauvelt and @Black Ceasar set sail for the British fleet! "Down with the British! Long live Private Republic" @Benjamin Hornigold as the ships left there mornings! Disaster struck, though, as suddenly a rogue cannonball shot from a land cannon and smashed through the hull of @Black Ceasar poor ship, causing it to list and collide with @Abraham Blauvelt. The ships barely made it past the land bank before going down! "Who fired!" yelled @Klaus Störtebecker as all the pirates started scrambling to find out who had sabotaged them this time! At the same time, @Thomas Anstis had set sail and managed to make it out fine, only to be struck by the British, so alas, 3 ships had gone down, but @Dirk Chivers "Dirk Chivers" has just arrived, lighting up the British ship, sinking it there! "To honour the fallen, we should elect a new @Reporter and hang another spy", @Anne Bonny called out! The other agreed. @Participant @Reporter TLDR @Dirk Chivers subs in for @Thomas Anstis @Abraham Blauvelt and @Black Ceasar died Lynch 1 person, elect a @Reporter

Day 4 | The midnight cry

The war was upon the republic, the British fleet now joined by the Spanish surrounded the island, the pirates ships were ready to set sail. This be but a battle for history. Unfortunately the preparation had not been perfect though the night for @William Kid was found hung from mast with the words "Bow to the British". There was no mistaking it this time, they had attacked us in our homes, had turned our own kinda against eachother. @Jeanne de Clisson called for carm but the crowd of pirates and their crews wanted blood. "2 must died today" declared @Benjamin Hornigold for tonight the blood of the British will be split! @Participant @Mentor TLDR @William Kid died Lynch 2 people and elect a @Guardian

The end | Fall of the republic

The ships set sail for the British fleets, flags flying high, cannons ready to fire! @Anne Bonny opted to stay behind to protect the island, the first battle raged on wth both sides suffering losses. @Benjamin Hornigold ship went down just before making to the British a large explosion from within, sabotage! The battle was not going well, cannons failed to fire gunpowder stores went up in flames, @Jeanne de Clisson and @Mary Read ships went down, followed by @Charles D. Vane close after. The battle was all but lost. From the center tower on the island @Davy Jones hung a British flag. All was lost, the Republic had fallen, the Golden age for pirates was over. The British landed on the island and rounded up thoughts who were left, they were to be hung as future warnings to all who may think themselves see worthy. @Dead Participant @Mentor Werewolves win, Racoon wins
