Basics

The Devout Villager is a normal citizen, with one exception: they can never change role.

Details

When a role changing ability affects the Devout Villager, it fails. If the infecting wolf tries to infect the devout villager the infection fails and nothing happens. If a vampire tries to demonize the Devout Villager it happens normally, however if the Devout Villager is attacked they will die instead of turning undead.

yeah good question the point isn’t just coal it’s what Local Coalminer stands for he’s not some perfect guy trying to act above us he’s someone who's lived the hard life he’s real honest been through the dirt just like the rest of us he never asked for power he just kept showing up and doing the work as for Carpenter Arch i’m not saying he’s evil but there’s something off like he’s too smooth too rehearsed like he wants control more than he wants to help something in the way he moves talks acts it doesn’t feel grounded it feels like a show so yeah it’s not just about the job titles it’s about who we trust to lead us and for me that’s local coal miner all the way
