Day 0 | Scandal (Sound of slightly distorted, peppy theme song) Chimi (Energetic): “Welcome to the Den, Werewolf Community College’s favourite podcast. I’m Chimi!” Katy (Still yawning): “I’m Katy. Do you think 8 am is too early for this?” Chimi: “Katy, focus! Today on the show is our special guest, Dean Luffy.” (Sound of rushed footsteps and a terrified gasp.) Dean Luffy: “Chimi. Katy. You scared me. I’m on my way to the office.” Chimi: “Dean Luffy, we invited you to the show because there’s a serious allegation against you! The end-of-the-year budget for clubs is out! Looks like there’s not much funding for the new year. Where did the money go?” Katy: “Did you lose it?” Dean Luffy (Flustered): “Hmm…No! The clubs are struggling with funding because of their own mismanagement! Too much spending last year! It’s not my problem!” (Sound of Dean Luffy running away) Katy: “That doesn’t sound too convincing.” Chimi: “No, no, Katy, I think he’s right! Remember the rager the football team threw? Or the terrible play the drama club put on during the New Year celebration last year? They must be the reason we can’t get a better mic! We must figure out who has mismanaged the funds!” Katy: “Oh yeah! I also can’t get that luxury heated wool throw. I wanted to take naps between lectures!” Chimi: “Well, I don’t think you can expense that…Either way! The investigation is on! The Den is committed to finding the real culprit behind the missing funds! Tune in tonight for another update. Chimi: "You said you had heard something very interesting. Emphasis on very" Katy (Excited): "That's right! An inquisitive mind like mine picks up on many details most ordinary people would not." Chimi: (Unimpressed): "I'm sure you do, but I reckon the listeners are awaiting the news with great anticipation." Katy: "Héhéhé, alright then, because you asked for it. You see, people have been pointing fingers at the schools financial administrator for the blame." Chimi: "I mean, it makes sense, he's the one overseeing it all, makes sense to blame him." Katy: "But that's too easy, that's what they're banking on to not get caught." Chimi: "They?" Katy: "Yeah, they. There are multiple people taking funds right form under the administrators nose! If I had to speculate on why, I think the dean's comment yesterday about the clubs is even more true than he thinks." Chimi: "You think the clubs are the ones taking funds from the administration?" Katy: "You got it. Now whether they're all in cahoots with each other or they're all just doing it because they're selfish is up in the air." Chimi: "Well, sounds like the investigation is well underway, yet there's still a lot more to be done. Tune it tomorrow morning for more updates. Bye." Katy: "Bye bye." How did they even get in here?" Katy: "Beats me, I still have my key." Chimi: "And I got mine." Katy: "We got a sneaky thief in here, luckily they didn't steal anything. Either way, my bet's on that they are one of the ones taking the school funds." Chimi: "That, or they're here simply to cause more drama. In fact, @Football Coach Bass was in quite a bit of trouble yesterday for something the school refused to disclose. Now the general discussion seems to be centered on him, some people saying he was framed, others accusing @Football Coach Bass of even more egregious stuff." Katy: "Right, I think I heard he might be getting expelled. Still, I think focusing on the person takes away from the real discussion. The entire situations seems fishy. The phrase, not referring to our beautiful, wonderful cheerleader." Chimi: "I guess that's at least one truth for the morning podcast. Let's see if the rest of the day unveils anything." Alex, I heard you have done some investigation of your own?” Alex (Serious): That's right, Chimi. I saw Community Watch hosting an event at the library. It seems like they are still recruiting. Who has the money to recruit more members? @Community Watch Swurtle has to be one stealing!” Katy (Gasps): “You’re right! They even have their own uniform! I wanted to get something for Chimi and me, but the Financial Administrator said no!” Chimi: “To be fair, a sequin suit and a mermaid dress seemed a little over the top.” Katy: “We'd look great in it!” Chimi: “You’re not wrong… Anyway! Day 2 | Confession (Theme song plays. Nothing unusual happens thank god) Katy: "Aaaaand everything is working as it should, good morning everyone." Chimi: "Good morning indeed, what a time to be going to this school." Katy: "Quite right indeed, I suppose we should get right into it. After @Community Watch Swurtle's event at the library, @Librarian Alex has come under heavy fire and after a long conversation with @Dean Luffy." Chimi: "Yes, supposedly he has indeed admitted to stealing funds and was send home for an indetermined , however there are speculations that he was either pressured into admitting, or did so to protect @Community Watch Swurtle." Katy: "Not to stoke the fire, but those two did do quite a lot for the library together didn't they? I don't blame people for thinking as such. Still, I would urge you all to keep thinking critically, nothing substantial has been proven yet." Chimi: "In other news, @Lecturer Ocean has spoken up about the situation in relation to how it affects the other parts of school, mainly that everyone in her classes has been so obsessed with this case, noone is paying attention anymore!" Katy: "I don't blame her, this situation is almost starting to sound like a witch hunt the way some students are talking about it." Chimi: "Indeed. Not to say we don't appreciate the help, but know there are good and wrong ways to help. If you do, ask @Dean Luffy or any other faculty." Katy: "Or help the school newspaper out to ensure the facts are verified and read and false or fictitious rumours are discarded." Chimi: "Indeed. It seems like @Delinquent Derp had solid evidence that the Student Council was favoured during the funding process. They had almost double the funding than the other clubs! Katy: Scandalous! Chimi: "Except someone didn't take so kindly to that. @Debater Jay stood up and took stage and a heated argument between the two played out over the course of the next hour, in which @Debater Jay turned the entire event on its head and exposed @Future Politician Phan as one of the thiefs, as well as linking a few other people to the case." Katy: "Kinda glad because @Future Politician Phan was also accusing us, with his only evidence being that unknown guy that broke into our recording room mind you. Not exactly compelling evidence I'd say." Chimi: "Agreed. Rest assured, dear listener, we try to maintain transparency to the best of our ability." Katy: "@Debater Jay should be arriving shortly to comment on th- ah, there he is. Take a seat, tell us, what made you decide to stand up against @Future Politician Phan. Not a whole lot of people have the guts to take stage like that." Jay: "I don't have a lot of time before my next appointment, so I'm keeping it brief. He contacted the show after hearing our last episode. Timi, you said you can figure out the truth. How?” Timi: “Hi Katy. I found this vulnerability in the school system a few months back. I could hack into our school server and see every club’s activity. As long as it is conducted in the school network.” Chimi: “Wow. You hear it here first, Werewolf Community College! Can you show us, Timi?” Timi: “Of course. I just need to run a program I wrote to get in through the back door of the server…” (Tapping of keys on a mechanical keyboard) Timi: “There you go! I’m in! Let me analyze the logs and … Hold on!” Katy: “What happened?” Timi: “What? My activity was detected by their security software. This wasn’t here before… Let me try something else… Dann it!!” Chimi: “Wha—“ (The audio was abruptly cut off. There was silence for a minute.) Katy (mumbling): “two, one…Go!” Chimi: “And we’re back! We sincerely apologize for attempting to hack into the school system. It was against the student code of conduct.” Katy: “We are sorry!” Chimi (Sullen): “In other news, we will be pausing our podcast indefinitely. All our funding will be going to @Furry al’s furry club in the meantime. We were told we would be expelled like Timi was if we kept making episodes. Good luck Werewolf Community College! Enjoy yourselves tonight, just do-." (Microphone abruptly cuts off, speakers begin playing various audio recordings) Fish: "Are you sure you can win the next game?" Mia: "No way I'm letting them win, I'll just take some funds to pay the referee just to be sure." (Different recording.) Mkay: "Of course she took out more funds. Yeah of course I want the football team to win, as long as I get some of it. I got rent to pay alright and them becoming champions is a long ways away." (Another audio recording.) Sharl: "Nah man, as long as you pay me my mouth is zipped about all this." (Recording switches again.) Turtle: "Yeah I will need you to slow down, someone's been watching the transfers. You can take what you want as soon as I've kicked them out." (Audio goes quiet as the doors to the auditorium open. Chimi and Katy step in, dressed just as fancy as the other students.) Chimi: "And that, folks, should make it clear as day. And yes, we did get that list of suspicious transfers." Katy: "And take a wild guess who all it traces back to. Seems like our football wasn't as noble and golden as we thought. Shame to those who let it happen, those who took advantage when they knew and most of all, the career councillor, who favoured the football team above all." Chimi: "This is what Timi left us with, @Dean Luffy. I hope it's enough." Luffy: "Indeed. I shall have a word with all those involved in this scandal immediately.
