Welcome @Participants to Composing Werewolves Revamped. We're all here to measure who is the best composer of them all! The judge will be none other than @WereWolfgang Amadeus Mobot himself. Please, enjoy your stay here. You will all be given a piece by yourselves(!) to listen to, should the need arise. @Participant @Mentor

Your first lesson: your choice of key is important! Even different keys in the same family (minor, major, mixolydian) have slight differences in vibe due to the different hertz spacings between pitches. So, know your keys! @Participant @Mentor

Day 1 | Primary Eliminations

Someone must be the first to go. In this case, it was two people: @Federich Smetana & @Johann Steinastian Bach. @Federich Smetana was perhaps too modern for @WereWolfgang Amadeus Mobot, being a Romantic Era composers, and @Johann Steinastian Bach, rivalling @WereWolfgang Amadeus Mobot in fame, was too old-fashioned for Wolgang's taste. Wolfgang Amadeus was a classical purist! Anyways, to celebrate one composer, you get to vote the composer with the best composition as @Mayor! But, you must also collectively decide on who is the worst composer and vote them out of the competition. @Mentor @Participant

@Giovani Pierluigi da Pandastrina was eliminated. Despite having the best composition, I suppose the choral polyphonies couldn't cut it in this cut-throat competition. Additionally, @Clauptain Debussy was also asked to leave the competition. Wow, @WereWolfgang Amadeus Mobot really does dislike the late Romantic Era. Today you have been given another chance to vote for the best composer as @Mayor and to lynch the 2 worst composers. @Participant @Mentor

Yes, but he himself considered himself a Romantic composer (allegedly). It comes down to whether you want to count Impressionism as a school of the late Romantic Era or not.

I'm glad we've established that Debussy was an impressionist. Anyway, it seems you all have finally grown a backbone and eliminated some of your competition! @WereWolfgang Amadeus Mobot was only too happy to eliminate @Mrrchael Praetoriius and @Hexrich Isaac, whilst today's winner of best composition is yet another italian! @Mentor @Participant

Day 3 | Demise of the Part-Germans

It appears that both @Ge0rge Frideric Handel, a German who spent a large part of his life in London, and @Giovanni Girolamo Kalimorsberger, a German who spent a large part of his life in Italy, were both eliminated from the competition. Today, you have a chance to eliminate the worst remaining composer. Additionally, you can vote to give the @Reporter role to the most influential composer. @Mentor @Participant

@chimi.loves.shrimp - Spain's most valued representative - won the award for best composition due to their stunning originality and heartfelt tonnality. Not so much luck for @Albert derp Rippe, who was tomatoed until they had to pull their records from complaints of 'lack of musicality'. Better luck next time Norway! Day 4 | The Competition Stagnates

It appears that the competition has started to stagnate, as only the truly best composers remain: Of those, 3 stem from the Renaissance, 1 stems from the Baroque, 1 stems from the Romantic Era. And, well, @Ludwig van Basschoven bridged both the Classical and Romantic Eras, one could argue. However, you must whittle them down by voting for a @Mayor, a composer outstanding in their era, and lynching the worst remaining composer. Who will have to bite the bullet today? @Mentor @Participant

It appears that yesternight's co-host was rendered speechless by the beautiful compositions, allowing Pachelbel's beloved Canon in D to win the best composition ever. Most weddings would agree! Flemish Swurtlesato didn't make it - let's be honest, there were too many Renaissance composers here. Today, we can vote for the, @Guardian, the composer that has stayed most true to their respective era! @Participant
