My one-shot manga is going to be about a Town and a Werewolf childhood friends falling in love. The Townie was made Mayor and the Werewolves wanted to attack that night but the MC wolf (an Alpha Wolf) switched votes to protect his crush. I have rewritten the plot a few times now as I'm reading TV Tropes "So you want to write a Good Yaoi" guide. But that's not what I'm asking about. What's a good flavor for werewolves "attacking" townies? I can't seem to find an actually good sugarcoat for it

Because the plot twist later is that the Townie was actually a Cursed Civilian and they joined the Wolfpack later and they lived happily ever after
