Basics

When all hope seems lost, with no mayor alive, the Cleric can once bless another player and themself, protecting them for the night.

Details

After Night 1, the Cleric may once per game bless a player at night. When they do so, they also bless themself. However, the Cleric may only use their powers if no mayor exists. Blessing a player is an immediate ability. When the Cleric blesses a player, they cannot be killed by any attacks throughout the rest of the night. If a blessed player evades an attack, the attacker is told "Your target survived because they were blessed".

Though usually Mayors are often killed quickly to avoid the election of other roles so there are a decent amount of opportunities usually

Mayor resigning, which has always been around, has now also actually become a feature that people may use occasionally to empower cleric (though that strategy works best if it is done during the day)
