Werewolves Revamped - story-time

Story Time - Day 0

The game has started!

Day 0 Years before a fateful conclave of sorcerers that would shape the world for the future, spring has finally arrived in Tharros, and the port city of Invaila is celebrating. People gather in the #town-square, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the festival. It is time to choose the @Monarch (Monarch), the one who will lead through the season of growth. The crowd is lively. @Sprout._.Glow watches from the side with a smirk. @Mr. Flowish snacks on something sweet, not noticing the petals in their hair. @Bloomoor argues with a merchant over the "magic" of a bundle of herbs ("This is all a scam! They're not magical at all"), while @uuY_yzeerB tucks a flower behind her ear, lost in thought. Even the wolves and vampires have set aside their grudges, agreeing to a truce in honor of the season - there even is a rumor going around, that some of them are among the celebrating citizen at this very moment, here to enjoy the celebrations as well. For now, the city is at peace - even more so than is usual for the reign of the Thornheat dynasty. Everyone is looking forward to spring. The elder druid, @Mossroot, steps onto the wooden stage, lifting a staff wrapped in ivy. “This is a time of new beginnings," he call out. "And now, we name the one who shall wear the Crown of Blooming Dawn.” The village breaks out in chatter, putting their own names forward or supporting the bids of one another. The herald of spring will be chosen - who will it be? @Participant

Story Time - Night 1

A Howling Wolf has cried.

Night 1 As the sun sets over Invaila, the celebrations quiet down. The crowd grows quiet with anticipation of who will be announced as the new @Monarch (Though, truthfully most already know the answer as they were secretly checking the #voting-booth to see what their fellow citizen were voting). The time has come to reveal who will wear the Crown of Blooming Dawn and lead us all through a season of growth, a season of peace even with absolutely no death, right? Once again, the truly old and ancient druid, @Mossroot, steps forward to announce the winner of the election: "After much discussion, the one chosen to be the @Monarch is..." The crowd holds their breath (or they would if they were talking and not writing messages). " @Bloom.tum" (pronounced: "space quantum") Applause fills the square as @Bloom.tum

now the @Monarch - steps up for a speech in celebration of his victory. The city cheers, united for a moment in celebration, and thus the speech cannot be heard as everyone is cheering too loudly. Meanwhile, a ship leaves the harbor.

But as the cheers fade, and the night begins some people begin to worry. Is the truce between them and the wolves and vampires really as certain as it seems? (Watch it actually be true and we end the game Day 5 with no deaths and having everyone be a winner) And then, the night has come, and with it, a true test of @Bloom.tum's rule begins. TL;DR

Story Time - Day 1

@Mr. Flowish has died.

@Budding8000 has died.

Day 1 As the sun broke over the hills and the birds sung songs of joy. The grass fields outside the town glistened with morning due, rays of orange light broke through the windows of the towan hall. The @Monarch was the first awake and opened the doors to the hall to start the Spring Festival only to find @Mr. Flowish laying in the floor with the light illuminating their body, at first it was assumed they were asleep but that was not the case! Soon after the bells rang to wake the town for the festival, suddenly @FlorousBirds runs into the square to report @Budding8000 body had been found too! @Bloom.tum calls out to the townsfolk for peace and to declare: "The peace on which this festival has been broken, this peace on which we are built can not last it is obvious now! Someone must pay for these deaths and a @Mayor should be elected to lead us, someone we trust to lead the peace." So as it was said the townsfolk would elect a @Mayor and find someone to pay for the deaths of the 2 townsfolk, maybe the spring can bring peace after all, not all is lost! Meanwhile please enjoy today's celebrations, there will be a feast in honor of the fallen, the first harvest of the fields, berry picking and flower sales to fill the day! Story Time - Night 2

@Petalvoyager was elected as Mayor.

@Aliisprout was lynched. A Howling Wolf has cried.

@Aliisprout has died.

Night 2 The sun sets once more over Invaila, but now the joy of the festival is gone. In fact the entire joy of spring is gone. We might as well go back to having winter at this point. Whispers ripple through the streets, well really, it's more like screams as @Aliisprout is currently being chased out of the town by their fellow citizen. Indeed, @Aliisprout has been cast out. Some say it was justice. Others aren't so sure. In the background a Howling Wolf cries. Clearly the wolves too are sadened by the fact that we have cancelled spring and returned to winter. But at least, the city wont stay blind. With so much danger lurking and a blizzard being scheduled for later this week, seeing as how it is winter again, @Petalvoyager has stepped forward, now bearing the title of @Mayor, tasked with uncovering who committed the crimes of the previous night. Still, dread settles over the town. The truce is clearly no more. Who will be left standing after this night is over? Story Time - Day 2

@Thyme9 has died.

Day 2 This morning's peace was crafted by singing birds but rather the high-pitched scream of @Thyme9 ripped though the tow @Petalvoyager rushed out to see what was happing only to find @Thyme9 body laying in a pool of blood in the town square! That was not the worst bit laying in the square too was @Blosscy and @Meadowstress! What could have happened the peace, the song of the bird, all the common goal, who could throw all that away. The town was indeed heading for a dark time; this much death could not be avoided! How was the @Monarch ever meant to welcome in spring with all this death! @Petalvoyager rose to the small stage in the square to call the town together. "We can not let the deaths of these townsfolk go unanswered; someone must pay for killing these people! As it is obvious now that the wolfs and vampires are still here and have not agreed to @Mossroot's peace so there for they must be removed from this town before the cobbles become stained with blood!" As decreed, it was decided that the town would remove two people today. They would also elected a town @Reporter to invesigate the ones who died and try and get to the bottom of all these deaths TL;DR @Thyme9, @Meadowstress & @Blosscy Died There are 2 lynches today Elect a @Reporter @Participant @Mentor

Night 3 Night falls once again over Invaila. The town has spoken, and @SpringTideBite and @Sproutle have been cast out. Were they guilty? Innocent? Wolves? Vampires? It no longer matters - their voices are gone. This time forever - as we're banning everyone who dies in this game. To make sense of the growing chaos and to get to the bottom of all the deaths, the people have chosen @arukaS.sevol.imihC as @Reporter, tasked with uncovering the truth. Game End Darkness settles over Invaila. There is no more debate, only death. The city belongs to the wolves now. One by one, the final citizen are killed: @55moolbkcuH, @Sprout._.Glow, @BudsAccount, @Springator, @JeanD.April and @Dewpulp. Now, there is no one left to stand against them. What was once a festival of spring has become a feast for the wolves. Invaila now belongs to the wolfpack!
