Day 0 | Welcome to Wolvespine

Ah yes, Wolvespine. The beautiful picturesque village located in an unnamed™️ mountain range, not at all resembling the Alps, has kept their Medieval lifestyle alive by virtue of isolation. In fact, not even electricity has reached these remote slopes yet. However, this isolated society has kept their archaic day-to-day life alive by each @Participant of Wolvespine having been assigned a field of work they excel in. To keep things simple, their occupations also double as their names. Who needs real names anyways? Anyways, back to the story at-hand; surely nothing lupine would ever happen in such a beautiful & remote village. Right?

Nothing happened...

Night 1 | A Nice Evening in Wolvespine

And as the sun went down, the @Participants all finished their work of the day. While some went to get home to their partners or children, some gathered at the local #tavern. Now the tavern was to Wolvespine as a main hall was to a castle. It's where everyone gathered and where everyone got their news. And their beer. The barkeep's business always started at dawn. Cleanign the tables, sweeping the floor, preparing the plates and baking the bread over the fire. A soup was being prepared in a big pot over the fireplace. The flames sent shadows flickering into the room, highlighting and darkening the wrinkles in everyone's faces, worn from a long day of work. But here was something different here. Something was looming over the @Participants. There was a guest. It was rare. Sometimes a bard, sometimes a salesman. But this guest was something else. He had something to announce.

Mini Event | Identify the Medieval Occupations!

Hear ye! Hear ye! It appears that everyone is named after an occupation. If you would like a bonus of 50 coins added to your coin balance after this game, you must be the one to list all the occupations you can find hidden in the nicknames. Hint: Occupations and/or positions can be found in the names of @Participants, Hosts, Spectators, Substitutes, Mentors, Game Masters and possibly other places

The player to submit the list with the most correctly identified occupations from the nicknames will be awarded 50 coins! Ping @Event Host to submit your list. The list must be submitted before game end. At game end, submissions will be closed and tallied. Do note that this event is unrelated to the core game and is thus voluntary - it is independent of the game of Werewolf. Anyone can participate, even if they aren't in-game participants. (edited)

Day 1 | Something's Off

Oh no! @Harlotranger has been found dead, sprawled amidst the #town-square. They look to have been horribly mauled over night, their intestines sprawled everywhere. Are those bite marks? Who could have done something like this? Or what? Especially to someone who had just moved to Wolvespine? It is time for the @Participants to take a stand against the perpetrator of such a horrible crime & string them up on a noose to pay for their crimes! Also, any village needs its @Mayor. Who else will navigate the village through rough times such as these? (edited)

Midday 1

Apparently, @Their Lordship had more important matters to attend than sitting around in a puny village. So they left Wolvespine, but not before leaving @Jayler behind to keep an eye on the @Participants.

Story Time - Night 2

@Yuki_not_Cutler was lynched. A Howling Wolf has cried.

Night 2 | Rummage in Town Square

They've been yelling all day. Maybe it was the visit of the mysterious stranger. Maybe the @Participants and @Mentors finally made a decision. The mood was rough. The death of another villager hits hard when the village only houses so little people. They did come to a conclusion to elect a @Mayor, @Basscyetmaker. Maybe he'll be the one to fix this. Find whoever did the unthinkable. Maybe he was gonna do the unthinkable. "You did it!" he screamed at @Yuki_not_Cutler and straight up attacked them. (edited)

Midnight 2

Out of fear, @Gemkaytter decided that being in Wolvespine was too dangerous. He quickly rented his cabin to @Char._.Coalburner and went on his merry way to a safer village, with less aggressive @Participants and @Mentors.

@Abbesstie has died.

Day 2 | Two Civilian Found Murdered

As is written in the Wolvespine Gazette, a terribly gruesome murder occured on two civilians: @Timeberer & @Abbesstie. Their corpses were found sprawled across the #town-square, exuding a most terrible stench. The @Participants must figure out who could be behind these killings and are able to lynch not one, but two players today! On the other hand, a @Reporter is needed to investigate the murders & the victims. An esteemed town such as Wolvespine cannot function without a @Reporter in office, that's a preposterous supposition. @Mentors

Mini Event | Update

Hear ye! Hear ye! Due to relatively high interest amongst yourselves, the event prize has been raised to 100 coins for 1st prize. Additionally, 2nd & 3rd prizes get 50 & 25 coins respectively. On ties, multiple people can get the same prize. @Participant @Mentor @Ghost @Substitute

Night 3 | Delayed Execution

"Where's this executioner then? Is something supposed to happen?" The @Participants and @Mentors were standing around aimlessly. People should have died already. A bird cry was heard throughout the square, suddenly. The citizens of Wolvespine looked up in shock. "What was that?" The @VenomousBirdkeeper walked up on the stage, a hawk landing on their arm. "There you are!" they said. "I was looking for my friend here, seems that delayed this execution. My sincerest apologies, once again. You may throw tomatoes at me once this is done." They then sent their bird towards @Polymath and @Marsharl, but the bird refused to attack @Marsharl and attacked @Ghost_Saddler instead. For avoiding the bird attack, they awarded him with the role of @Reporter.

Day 3 | Wolvespine Loses Its Mayor

It appears that overnight a tragedy took place in the town hall. @Basscyetmaker was found sprawled across his large oak desk, covered in deep wounds. Who could have killed Wolvespine's most dearly beloved @Mayor? The @Participants have gathered in the town-square to discuss who gets to hang for this gruesome attack. Additionally, a new @Mayor must be elected, an esteemed town such as Wolvespine cannot function without such an esteemed office! @Mentor

All of the sudden, @Swintleherd decided that teh village was also too dangerous. So they moved out even before the @Mayor could be elected. @Chimineysweep moved in to the still fully furnished house, as if they were simply replaced @Swintleherd @Participant @Mentor

@The Sailor Cookie was elected as Mayor.

@Dantist was lynched.

With the @Mayor gone, who would lead this hopeless town? Hasn't it seen enough tragedy already? As every day, the @Participants and @Mentors gathered around the town square anxiously, awaiting their fate, or the fate of one of the neighbors. "Silence!" bellowed @The Sailor Cookie. "As your new @Mayor, I decree that we get rid of @Dantist. We suspect him to be the source of all evil and getting rid of him will reestore the fate of this small village." The villagers quickly whispered to eachother, the whispers growing louder and louder! "Kill the murderer! Kill the murderer!" And so, @Dantist was thrown into the mob of citizens hungry for justice and apparently for flesh too.

Day 4 | Murder Spree in Small-Town Wolvespine Continues

Overnight, another two @Participants have fallen victim to the series of murders in the past week. The town's @Jayler, @Quantermaster, @Mr. Fisherman & its @Reporter @Marsharl were both found dead this morning. This is truly tragic! It remains imperative to catch the perpetrators and string them up in the lynch, to make them pay for all the harm they have caused picturesque Wolvespine! Additionally, the Mayor's office is looking for a new @Reporter, whose job it will be to report and investigate into the identities of the deceased. @Mentor

Story Time - Night 5

@The Rooster that Crows at Dawn was elected as Reporter.

@Chimineysweep was lynched. Why... why did

@Chimineysweep have to die... if only they could be resurrected. No, that's nonsense. We're never getting anyone back.

Night 5 | Okay, but now we're sure the culprit is gone, I swear!

"I'm sure it's @Chimineysweep!" said @The Sailor Cookie. "If we lynch them , I'm 100% sure we will solve all of our problems!" The other villagers seemed to agree. "This is not true! I swear..." but it was too late. @Chimineysweep's defense was cut short by their head being chopped off. Some of the @Participants in the square applauded the action. Good riddance? @The Rooster that Crows at Dawn quietly received a list with @Reporter information. The @Participants and @Mentors then went to bed, preparing for a hopefully better day, without any tragic deaths. They were tired of the constant losses and the grief had hit an all time high.

It is evident that the murderer has yet to depart Wolvespine, for @Lighterman's body was once again found mauled. @Participants you must do better than this! Perhaps electing a @Guardian will help protect from the deaths, if you aren't able to lynch the perpetrators. @Mentor

Surely we have caught the murderer, right? Wolvespine is more than half-empty at this point, old cottages falling apart due to lack of maintenance. The newest lynchee is @Char._.Coalburner. Though with the @Guardian @Steinmason, I'm sure there'll be no reason to worry about death for the @Participants. Well, goodnight Wolvespine! @Mentor

Game End

"This should be the last one" said @The Sailor Cookie while tying @Acatyer to a pole. To everyone's surprise, there wasn't any need to set fire to the stake, it just kind of happened when @Acatyer touched the stake. Happens when you're flammable, or a flame, in this case. In the corner of the square, @Miaadwife was softly crying. Their mission had failed and they would never be able to return to the heavens, forever doomed to be with mankind. And this mankind wasn't too nice, killing their neighbours and friends. But the town celebrated. The last survivors rejoiced, as they knew it for sure. They had won the battle against their enemies. The Townsfolk has won @Participant @Dead Participant @Mentor @Substitute
