If the Idiot dies for the first time, they instead live, but lose their voting power.
Details
The first time the Idiot is lynched, attacked or killed, they will survive.
However, the Idiot loses their vote and is informed about this.
If the Idiot is Mayor, they will still have their Mayor vote.
@Participant You've been assigned a mentor! @Harald Bluetooth | Denmark can see all the channels that you are part of but only speak in this one, and is here to help you with aspects of gameplay strategy that hosts cannot help you with. Turtle can't tell you everything you should be doing and play the game for you but he is here to discuss anything you're confused about with the game.
Also, if you make a cc we will need to manually add your mentor to it, so it would be helpful if you pinged us when you do so as keeping track of ccs can be a struggle sometimes.
@Harald Bluetooth | Denmark Goddag my faithful advisor. Can you please give me an explanation on what these so called "flute roles" are and how they work?
Sure! So, the Flute team is a Solo team whose goal it is to enchant all living players. Basically, a Flute Player will get 1 enchant per 10 players at the start of the game (if there are multiple Flute Players, they get 1 enchant per 20 players each), that they are allowed to enchant each night.
Enchanted effects: Enchanted players are added to the 'enchanted' channel and are pinged, there the Flute Player(s) can talk via whispers in that chat. Additionally, being enchanted means that if you have a role-checking (investigative) ability, you will have a 60% of viewing their target as a Flute Player and only 40% that the actual result will trigger.
Roles:Flute Player (1x guaranteed in this game) is the main character and the role doing the enchanting and communicating in enchanted chat.
The Flute Charmer can 'charm' 1 player each day, seeing their role & disguising them as a Flute Player. They become a Flute Player if no other member of the Flute Team remains.
The Flute Apprentice can target someone: If a charmed or enchanted player targets the Flute Apprentice, their action will be redirected onto the target. The Flute Apprentice also takes over once the Flute Player(s) dies.
Flute Team strats: The Flute Team having no protection as Solo roles rely on deceit of investigative roles: They disguise people, redirect actions and effect the results of investigations. Usually there will be at least 2 from this team in-game, though with a game this size I think that 3 are likely, possibly one of each! It's a common strat to also enchant players who are least likely to be killed: You waste enchants if you enchant people and they die immediately afterwards. Or you go for investigative roles.
One way of deducing the Flute Players is checking who has been enchanted. Players who aren't enchanted are confirmed as 'not Flute Team'.(edited)
The enchanted channel is only accessible to the Flute Player (via whispers) and those who are enchanted. Usually, they'll announce who was enchanted and the other members of the enchanted channel can/will confirm.

There is rarely benefit in people lying about who is in the channel, since more people will be added each night, who will inevitably corroborate or deny the claims, so enchanted claimers are usually wuite trustworthy. Though this doesn't mean they are Town, they could of course be Wolves, UA, or other Solos.
I think that once day phase rolls around, it could be an idea to consider claiming and going for Mayor, if you'd like. Idiot is good since it protects from night-kill, you can be confirmed by being lynch. Plus, people aren't too opposed of Mayor being not 100% confirmed at the start of the game.
Let me know what you think.
Congratulations, @Harald Bluetooth | Denmark! You have leveled up to Level 7!
As a reward you have received 35 coins. Use $coins to check how many coins you have.
Additionally, you may now transfer rewards to others using $inventory transfer.

A Ranger already claimed, but that is an unreliable claim. I think it could be a good play to claim; that way you can get a TI to check you tonight or at least get Mayor. It would be pro-active and if Wolves attack you, there is one night-kill less.
Alternatively, you can also wait it out until a Town trusted is formed and try to work with them, they might try to get you baited by a Wolf.
It is up to you, @Mansa Musa | Mali. I would personally claim in this situation, but that's my playstyle.
Okay, interesting. So who did Yuki attack @Mansa Musa | Mali? Do you know? Also get Bass' info as quickly as possible and ask how they both died?
I would say currently Bass seems likely Town to me, since lying their Coroner info seems legit. I also gravitate towards trusting Chimi > Coal.
We know there's a 50/50 scum in:
Mat & Kal.
Sniper & Katy also should have at least 1 scum. If Chef is to be believed then Sniper.
If we believe chef, then Luffy & Sniper are scum.

It's unfortunate that we don't have a lynch today.
People I feel to be more likely Town than not:
Chimi
Bass
So I'd recommend getting in touch with them. Everyone has claimed except for Jazz. So my plan for today:
Make a cc with Jazz and get their claim, @Mansa Musa | Mali
If it is NOT Fortune Teller, then Chimi is confirmed, because we know the roles of all dead players (no Fortune Tellers) and we have all claims. Since the role list MUST have a FT, then Chimi MUST be Town. If this is the case, I would recommend Mayoring Chimi. Why? Because Town needs the extra vote. If you Mayored yourself, Wolves would kill you and they'd lose the Town leader & the Mayor. With Chimi as Mayor and you as Town leader, this is split across two people, making it harder. Also, Chimi is enchanted, which means that they effectively only have 40% of their ability, which means that they are ~okay to be attacked.
Please let me know if this plan of action makes sense! Sorry I couldn't help last night. Whoever Wolves are didn't know Alex was Cit, so this is also a case for Chimi to be real (they were in Town trusted shortly and could've seen Alex' true identity).

Also note that since Town waiter died, Chef is basically scum, since they cannot side with Town. Thus, they are always a lynch option. Also, it'll be an uphill battle without Town killing. We are 8 Town vs 5 Wolves vs 2 Solo vs 1 scum-aligned Chef
I think that is likely, yes. But I actually think that Wolves had two kills, and Yuki was a night-kill. If we look at Chef's waiters, if they are true, Yuki is the Town waiter and Sniper therefore can't be Town. So it cannot be Priest waters Town, if the Chef is to be trusted. It could be that Sniper is the second Solo and that the Priest watering had no effect on either of them, but rather Yuki was a Wolf kill. This then would make Sniper the untrustworthy claim.(edited)

I crossed out my first response.

Because in hindsight I'd actually trust Katy more than Sniper, if you trust Chef waiters.
I’m trying to get coroner to confirm if that’s how Yuki died. He said she died cause she was attacked but also cause she suicided, but idk what that means
Upon every death, the Bear is informed how that participant died.
Details
The Bear will be told the cause of death for every dead mammal, and if multiple causes of death are present, then all causes will be revealed to the Bear.
The Bear is told the name of species that killed the mammal (if applicable) and the type of death (this can be either “kill”, “suicide”, “mauling” or “descension”), as well as the name (but not the species) of the mammal that died.
The Bear is not affected by any disguises.
Ok so according to coroner Yuki attacked a town role after all

Well, then the Chef is either lying about their waiters (Yuki & Sniper Town) or Coroner is lying about results (Priest suicide). Now, if Coroner were Wolf, I suppose they wouldn't know that Sniper was Solo and could just say that it was suicide.
So a Chef has waiters from every alignment. The Chef in this game claimed to Yuki that his waiters were Yuki, Sniper, Luffy & Sharl. Thus, if the Chef is truthful, it follows that one of them is Town, one Wolf, one Solo team 1 & one Solo team 2. Sharl was Flute Player. Yuki was Town. Therefore, it would follow that Sniper was either Solo team 2 or Wolf. Then, Yuki would not have died watering him.
So we can assume that (a) either Sniper was Town, Chef lied about his waiters and Bass is telling the truth, (b) Chef is truthful, Sniper was Solo and Yuki didn't die by watering a Town, but only died from wolfpack kill (in which case Bass is lying); or (c) both are lying and a mix of both happened.
messing with cc perms isn't something we can do, since it is a legitimate strategy sometimes for cc owners to not promote people in a cc for whatever reason.
@Harald Bluetooth | Denmark so it looks like chef was lying about Yuki being a waiter. Would you say this confirms sniper, and maybe puts the pressure off of coroner?

Aha. Okay. In that case, yes, I think Bass is quite trustworthy and I think so is Sniper.
20:53
Luffy and Arch are the Wolf and WWW waiter, which I think makes sense, since I read both of them scum (personally).
20:53
And Katy is more likely to be scum given Sniper's counter-claim. So I think this gives us a solid base to go scum-hunting off of. Also, no need to go for Chef as long as Sniper is alive. Once he dies, however, he becomes equal to scum.
20:54
Have you gotten Jazz' claim yet @Mansa Musa | Mali?
Every night, the Bear can select two mammals and see if they have the same alignment as each other. Each mammal can only be selected once.
This is not affected by disguises, but is affected by redirections.
