The situation is as follows:
My task today specified that I was allowed to ask my superior game master for assistance. I chose to trust in their knowledge, so as to not cause any issues for our company, and asked them for help. What ended up happening was that without any hesitation @Sleepy Security Officer delegated this task to our unpaid intern and then proceeded to proudly declare abusing the power hierarchy in the company was an important skill to have. I am in no way trying to criticize our intern for this, since she was given a task she didn't have the qualifications for out of nowhere, but her work ended up being a lackluster solution copy pasted from the role information page, leading to more work for me in the end, and thus costing the company time, and time is money!
I am honestly appaled by the lack of values displayed so early on.
I-I was simply overwhelmed b-by your sudden approach... The way you asserted y-yourself on me and h-handed your w-work to me... I-it caught me o-offguard...
I-I wasn't comfortable w-with how close you got... I prefered to connect you with o-one of our skilled interns to w-work with them in the meantime w-whilst I get used to your... Dare I say... Explosive p-personality...
I-I sensed your authoritative personality and since I'm a master r-reader, I figured your the kind of person who l-likes to control a-and look down upon people... So I-I.. I... Told you that you s-should use the interns underneath us to a-appeal to y-your controlling personality! A-and sir! I must bring to attention, they a-agreed with my suggestion at that moment too... But t-their lust for p-power remained insatiable...
They s-sensed my vulnerability to their explosiveness and brash personality... And c-chose to press me w-with accusations to oust me from my position... T-the things I s-said were only t-to appease this b-bold and b-brash man s-sir... And they've been twisted against me...
As for me giving lackluster info in return... I d-didnt wanna ignore the work of my beloved intern... Out of respect for their opinion, I already stated once to them that this seems like an intended interaction b-but... They insisted for me to g-give that to my colleague s-so to not disappoint them, I passed their info o-on...
I t-then told them once all was d-done that what they told me to submit wasn't what they shouldve and taught t-them a valuable lesson, improving their game hosting skill...
I-I try to pull everyone's rope... Pleasing both my intern and my junior at the same time... But sometimes things contradict b-but I tried my best to please and teach both of em... B-but I couldn't hold both ropes this time for they were far apart enough that I couldn't hold one whilst holding the other... Yet I inched and inched and finally I think... I think... I grabbed both ropes just enough to keep my team
