Werewolves Revamped - story

Day 0 | Black Wednesday It's 1929. The Great Depression. Just days ago, it was announced on the stock market that the value of tokens is going down at an unprecedented rate. Gold is turning to silver, and soon they will be worthless entirely. Panicked, everyone rushed to withdraw the tokens they already had, and in the stampede killed @WWR HR Generalist (Dead), the operator of the token bank. Now with no one left to fix the situation we've been plunged into a recession the likes of which we have never seen before. Everyone is brutally turning on each other for the chance of getting even one extra token to feed their family, except @Mato, who is doing pretty well for some reason. I guess even in a recession people still want to buy ugly cars. Also, this is an event game! The game? Capitalism. All event-related questions are to be directed to the Event Host, not Main Host. Mid-Day 0 Turns out I spoke too soon! @Mato abruptly went out of business because everyone started buying Fiats instead. Unsurprising, they're simply superior in every way. TL;DR: @Hustling Huckster has subbed in for @Mato. @Participant

Night 1 | A Cold Night An uneasy and cold night settles over the inhabitants as they try and figure out how to keep warm despite their lack of funds for electricity. Thankfully, the Werewolves rulebook is so thick that burning it will last them an entire week. @Participant

Day 1 | A Bleak Morning While fighting over who could sit closest to the burning rulebook, @Piffling Fisher fell into the fire, promptly grabbing @Cranberry Bog Worker and dragging them in with him. Come morning their bodies were reduced to cinders. But! Another day, another hustle. There's no time to mourn when there's money to be made. TL;DR: @Piffling Fisher died. He was a huntress who killed @Cranberry Bog Worker. Choose a lynch and elect a @Mayor (>15). @Participant

Day 2 | Market Crash! With WWR Inc.'s stocks reaching an all time low, stakeholders are losing trust with the CEO as the company reports loss after loss. Jobs in the company have never been more unstable. For anyone looking for a sign, this is your chance to climb the corporate ladder! Take @Moonshine Maker as an example. They were promoted to WWR's company @Mayor (>15) for their valiant efforts. Meanwhile, @Hustling Huckster realised that they did not need to live under capitalism and ran into the streets to spread the word. Disturbed by the message, a riot broke out and killed @Hustling Huckster and @Gruff Gangster. TL;DR: @Hustling Huckster ascends as angel and kills @Gruff Gangster. @Moonshine Maker is elected as @Mayor (>15). @Participant (edited)
