He wasn't telling you his salary? Salaries are generally private, only to be shared willingly.

i know the base salaries of each position but if people get a pay increase i dont get notified of it so it makes it harder to keep track of where the money goes when that happens

ah swurtle, bless your cute soul. now dont get me wrong, i love a good scream- preferably when people hear my amazing ideas, but in this case? not ideal. lets handle this like adults, swurtle can just apologise and cool off as she seems to have already done and next time, you can scream your heart out in support of my billiant ideas whenever she wants to
