I see no reason as to why town would call for a roll call D1 tho

game structure is usually something like: D0: everyone fucks around N1: wolves kill someone D1: somebody claims a town role and either proves themself or hopes nobody counterclaims them (might happen multiple times) then as soon as most people are reasonably convinced a certain person is town, that person "collects claims" in ccs (private chats) and begins the process of figuring out who the scum players are and killing them, whilst the scum race against town to prevent this.

we have a) a lower ratio of town (it's usually 50:40 town:non-town, whereas i usually see 60-70% town in mafia), b) much fewer vanilla roles, and c) much more of a propensity towards "mostly solvable" situations rather than "all reads" situations

To be aware of/plan around

I'll give a quick summary of all the roles and their functions here

Cult Leader - town's main nightkilling power, getting rid of the CL is very important for wolves. non-claimable Cult Member (x2) - non-claimable roles that pad out the list a bit, but will probably also be "town lead" roles (either from the start or when the initial town lead dies). major target for wolves as well. might be claimed by wolf cub but only if they try publicly claim D1 Executioner - really important role for town, will probably be the first town leader who we all end up claiming to. will probably die quickly to wolves. if wolves manage to kill the exe N1 or N2, then town is probably a bit fucked. could potentially be claimed by wolf cub, will probably be claimed by angel. important to keep track of bc will probably be central Aura Teller - not actually super important for us because we're immune to AT checks (yippee!!!) Fortune Teller - but jay, there's no FT in the list! WRONG. either the dog or the cat will turn into an FT. this is a threat to us because it can find us - but only sort of. flute team's entire gimmick is basically fucking up FT checks. if we manage to enchant the FT, then all of its checks have a 60% chance to show whoever's checked as flute player. also, the flute charmer will be disguising people as flute player too. this is both a dangerous role for us, but one we can also easily neutralise if we're lucky. Huntress, Citizen, Assistant, Journalist - these are all the easily claimable roles in the list Herald - also claimable All of the Wolf Roles - mostly not super important for us to know. might kill us which would suck. tanner and df have/give other people disguises, which does affect FC, and warlock is the scum version of FT Chef - important!!! the chef has a waiter from every team, which means one of us (we don't know who) is a waiter. the chef can only win if, at the end of the game, at least one waiter is still alive. the usual journo meta is that you claim to town trusted, tt tell you which role to target (usually a claimspace multirole. so citizen/assistant/huntress/etc in this list - something that lots of people will have claimed), you put a "code" (something silly like "i love drinking red wine" or something boring like "539374990") in your journal, and when a real journalist dies, whoever receives the journal gives TT the code, thereby proving themselves

in wwr, once there's someone public for us all to be able to claim to privately, most people will all claim during the same phase (say, N2, or N3) - so as long as you claim during that phase, your claim will be about as equally trustworthy. you don't want to claim later than that phase usually

During the day, the Flute Charmer may charm a player, the charmed player is not informed about this. This action is immediate.
