The Coyotes are a secondary wolf group, containing (usually) one Greater Coyote. The coyotes and the wolfpack do not know each other, but have the same alignment. If the wolfpack fails to kill a townsfolk, the coyotes can attack a player in the next night, but if the Greater Coyotes dies, they lose their ability and join the wolfpack instead.

The Luminary Herbalist must make a choice each night: concoct a potion (either one to cure one player of any negative effects or one to reveal if they are aligned with magic), or use a potion on a player. Both actions are immediate abilities.

Each night, the Aura Teller may check a target to determine if they are “a threat” or “not a threat”.

The Aura Teller cannot see a player’s role, but they can check whether or not they are a threat. Lycans, and roles classified as killing roles show up as a threat. The Aura Teller’s inspection is an immediate ability. Some roles or players may be able to kill, but will not show up as threats as they are neither lycans nor a role classified as a killing role. The Aura Teller is affected by strong disguises and redirections.

The Mayor can post in #story_time. When there are 15 or less living players, the Mayor receives an extra vote in polls. When there are more than 15 living players, each night the Mayor instead chooses whether a second lynch will take place during the next day.

The Mayor's extra vote cannot be nullified, stolen, or removed under any circumstances. If the Mayor would normally have a negative vote, the extra vote becomes a negative vote too. The Mayor may choose to resign at any point during a phase, but will only lose the role at the end of the phase. Choosing a double lynch is an immediate action. If the number of living players becomes 15 or less, the Mayor immediately gains the extra vote and loses the ability to choose whether there is an additional lynch. If this happens after they have chosen to have an additional lynch, but before the lynch poll occurs, the additional poll will still be created. The Mayor gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Mayors.

The Reporter is notified of the roles of the dead.

The Reporter has access to a secret channel with the roles of the dead. The roles given are impervious to powers such as the flute player or tanner. The roles given are always the role that player was originally assigned; a dog who chooses to become a cursed civilian, then gets turned into a wolf and finally dies will be shown to the Reporter as 'dog'. The Reporter is elected on the first full day with a living Mayor and no living Reporter. The Reporter may resign at the end of any phase. The Reporter gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Reporters.

Most, but not all werewolves are lycans. Whether a role is a lycan or not is relevant for roles including the aura teller and the priest. Some roles that aren't werewolves are also considered to be lycans. For a list of non-lycans run $i lycanless.*

The wolfpack is a group consisting out of most (but not all) werewolf roles. Each night, the wolfpack votes to attack one player. Most members of the wolfpack are lycans. The wolfpack may also contain traitors. Some other roles may be in the wolfpack as well if they started out as a member of the wolfpack and then transformed into another role.
