A Spiritual player may use their abilities both while alive, as well as while they are a ghost. They may target both living as well as ghostly participants.

Each day, the Poltergeist may decide whether to haunt the tavern in the next night.

The Poltergeist may choose to resign at any point during a phase, but will only lose the role at the end of the phase. Choosing to haunt the tavern is an end day action. If the Poltergeist choose to haunt the tavern, the tavern channel will be locked at the start of the night and it will be announced the tavern is haunted. If the Poltergeist's living allies coordinate with the Poltergeist, they can use the haunting ability to send info from the graveyard to the living. Once the night ends, the haunting ends, and the tavern will be unlocked. While the Poltergeist is haunting the tavern, it is absent and will evade banishments (excluding the nightly banishment poll). Other roles which spend their night at the tavern (i.e. Alcoholic) must stay at home while the Poltergeist is haunting and are thus not absent. The Poltergeist gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Poltergeists.

Each night, while they are a ghost, they may choose a player (immediate ability). For the rest of the night, as well as the following day, the Spiritualist may anonymously whisper with their target. The Spiritualist may only pick each target once.

The Banshee may not choose to ability block the same player twice. The Banshee gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Banshees.

Each day, the Banisher may decide whether a banishment will take place during the next night. There may not be banishments in successive nights.

The Banisher may choose to resign at any point during a phase, but will only lose the role at the end of the phase. Choosing a banishment is an immediate action. The Banisher gains an additional secret channel, which is reused for any subsequent Banishers.

The Riding Hood wins when they are killed by a wolfish player.

When the Riding Hood wins, the Riding Hood ascends and stops playing. The game continues. The Riding Hood will win if they are killed by a wolfish player. If the Riding Hood is killed in another way, they lose. If the Riding Hood is protected they neither die nor ascend. When the Riding Hood is killed by the wolfpack, the wolfpack may not attack anyone the following night. When the Riding Hood ascends, the wolfish player responsible will be ability blocked the for following day and night. If no wolfish players remain, the Riding Hood stops playing, descends and loses. The Riding Hood is nonaligned.
