Werewolves Revamped - story

Day 0 - The Haunting of Darkwood Village In the secluded village of Darkwood, a dark curse lies hidden within the ancient forest. On moonless nights, shadows move and whispers echo, heralding the presence of werewolves. One fateful evening, the beasts awakened, bringing terror and bloodshed. But in Darkwood, death is not the end. Both those who fall to the werewolves' savage attacks as well those that the villager execute during the day remain bound to the village as ghosts. These restless spirits watch over the living, aiding in the hunt for the hidden werewolves (unless they're werewolves themselves, of course!), even electing some of their own into special new positions. Now, Darkwood is a place where the living and the dead coexist. Villagers must uncover the werewolves among them, while ghosts use their spectral powers to guide or disrupt. Meanwhile, the ghosts may decided to banish some of their fellow beings from the graveyard entirely. Will the living and the dead unite to lift the curse? Night 1 - The Darkness Rises over Darkwood In Darkwood we have other previously unseen oddities. Some ghosts can communicate to the living. Some ghosts can even banish each other, it truly is different from the rest of the world. Perhaps if the mysteries of Darkwood can be uncovered in full, such a phenomena can be recreated elsewhere. There is more to Darkwood than just the curse, there rests a creature of horror called a Fenrir. For many centuries it laid dormant in the forests, but the emergence of a pack of haunted werewolves has awoken it. It is a savage creature that can consume not just flesh but ghosts as well. Night 2 - Darkwood's First Mayor Darkwood is a very old village, but it's never had any form of leadership before. So finally @Kruthers the Wraith, the first @Mayor (<=15) makes a historic development. There is sure to be many more firsts in store for Darkwood. Night 3 | The First Banisher Approaches After last night, the villagers were convinced that @Sir Shade Swurtle needed to be the new @Mayor (<=15). But that's not all, they also wanted to ghostify @Viki the Vanished under suspicion of murder. The ghosts have become really populated, its now time for the first @Banisher to be elected tonight. @Ghostly Participants @Living Participant

Night 4 | The first gravekeeper in history As the ghosts slowly start to outnumber the dead, the town decided they needed a @Gravekeeper, this is the first gravekeeper we've ever seen, and it was given to @Shifting Shade Jay. Additionally @Invincible Wraith was ghostified, shocking. Additionally additionally, the @Banisher decided to have a banishment take place tonight. Additionally additionally additionally there will be an election for the @Poltergeist. Wow that's a lot of things @Living Participant @Ghostly Participants

Day 4 @Shifting Shade Jay and @Mato the Malevolent died. Also, @Invincible Wraith and @Viki the Vanished got banished. Also also, @Dread Lord Darius was elected as @Poltergeist. @Living Participant @Ghostly Participants
