Day 4 | It Stopped.
Life is a rollercoaster. You go up, you go down, you go sideways. A little bit like New New York, the floating city.
But the city, in this case, was like a gray blob in the sky. It couldn't go any higher, so instead, people went down.
One by one, sillhouettes start falling -- allow me to tell you the tale of each one:
We start with the @Reporter. He had an office at the top of the city, perhaps even the world.
He really couldn't go any higher: he was @President DDD , the highest charge in the block. And now he was falling in the void below.
In the far off distance, a new silhouette appears. A glowing one at that - it was @Talking Lamp Arch.
Being honest, nobody could actually have an higher position than the first victim, but the Lamp was respected. It had a presence for everyone walking at night - and it always helped, even if they never realised it.
The next presence was a omnipresent subtle one - it helped everyone; @Hairdresser Snivy took care of everyone in the city. You really couldn't go anywhere without seeing their art all over everyone's head, even if you never realised it was theirs. But now the Hair Dresser was falling to certain doom, and their art will never be seen again.
Next it was a weirder figure: a ghost, @Ghost Phantom, haunting everyone's dreams and nightmares - or perhaps the citizens thought they were dreams or nightmares. In reality, he was by everyone's side, keeping them company.
As all other figures fell into the sky, the Ghost was there to keep them company once again.
This time, however, he decided to fall endlessly into the void with them, and so the Ghost was no more.
Next was a loud figure, consulting everyone in moments of dire need. @Consultant Les wanted their voice to be heard - perhaps annoying some with their mannerisms. Legend says their last word was "UwU," and I can in fact confirm that is the case, as it was his last moment on the city.
Suddenly, an even more unexpected event happened: the WHOLE CITY FELL.
Rumbles and screams of who was left. But suddenly, the remaining people quickly noticed: they were flying in the air. Whoever remained didn't fall, but instead hovered in the sky.
@Overlord Marten of neighbour Broccolyn was the culprit. He attacked the city and made it fall, but rewarded everyone who deserved it. Those people were the Townsfolk, who were now victorious over every howler and arsonist.
@Talking Lamp Arch, @President DDD, @Ghost Phantom, @Consultant Les, @Hairdresser Snivy died
And the game ends in a...
Townsfolk Win!
