I can do my assistant thing on em then emergency change to pass it to someone else and do another one at night to possibly pass it to two people

unfortunately you're not told that you have it until the night that you die and you stop becoming contagious at that point im pretty sure

Could still work. Could guarantee spread plague to atleast three people. And the second night you can ask if anyone was plagued and people that don't come forward are the plague carrier and bearer. (out of the three I spread it to)
