N1: Ah, I finally get to be my true self! Arrived to these lands as merely a dog, but have managed to morph into a journalist. To write down about my stay in Isdisit, what a pleasure! It seems everyone is trying to indagate on the identity of the king of Mindar, which some nobles are to meet tonight. Who knows what will come of this? I have set my journal target to the coroner, as I believe they may be able to use this information to confirm themselves to trusted town over the fakers. I assume if I were to die now, these pages won't be of much use, since I haven't agreed on any confirmation codes yet. Oh, and before I transformed, @Melodie the Dressmaker claimed to have been contacted by the Devil, who supposedly was trying to make some sort of deal. (edited)

D1: I woke up glad to have survived the night. In fact, it appears no one has died in the castle. How very interesting... The king turned out to be @King Krus II of Mindar, and only me and the pirate captain @Pechang, the Ghost Captain were able to see through his disguise. I will have to admit it was merely because of a hunch, however. How can the lack of deaths be explained? Perhaps the wolves hit a runner? Or, maybe, one of the hell team's souls was used to to save a life? It is hard to tell. It could even be that those wolves messed up their attack. That would be ridiculous. @Melodie the Dressmaker claims to have ignored the Devil. Interesting choice, perhaps they are a town member, maybe one with a role not worth revealing to the Devil. There's an ongoing discussion in the #castle-grounds . It appears they want to make @Blin the Armorer mayor... because they suspect him as a wolf? The argument is he won't be killed by the pack, but we know of the existance of lone wolves, and the devil could even use one of their souls to kill a wolf! Is this logic sound? Reading through the conversation, it appears @Melodie the Dressmaker and @Ettard the Librarian were trying to spark chaos (potentially to start a conversation), and randomly picked on @Blin the Armorer. Then @Pechang, the Ghost Captain decided to actually follow Ethan's vote for @Blin the Armorer. Can any reads be made from these interactions? (edited)

N2: And so, @Blin the Armorer has become the @Grand Speaker (>15). We managed to keep watch over the lynch poll to make sure no one forced someone to eat the King's dish without others agreeing first. So again, no deaths, apart from @Evil Ts, who tested the King's food. I hope this is giving the rest of townsfolk more time to prepare a strategy. Anything (please?). I guess the jurors are doing their work and getting some people checked. Regardless, we are now trying to find the culprit for the poisoning, since we already know @Prince Luned of Orakzeth was the fake knight. In other news, @Melodie the Dressmaker has now publicly announced that she got contacted by Cerberus, the three headed dog that is said to guard the entrance to the underworld... What is going on in this castle anymore? She said she would sell her soul and accept the offer, but it didn't seem like a very serious statement. I just witnessed a new development in the #castle-grounds. @Archmage Vezian of the Arcaneum was ranting about not being able to put a lot of time into the game and said they would have publicly claimed if it wasn't because of that. They say they would've "been a way better mayor candidate" and is asking for TK to not kill them, saying that Hell AND Wolves should already know why not to kill them. What role are they implying they have? One with a death effect? Perhaps ranger, or even huntress? Something good finally happened! We managed to compile the full map of the Lands of Elterath! After approaching @Apprentice Scribe Matolomew II and questioning him on a certain historical entry that matched information @Ettard the Librarian had been reading, he allowed us to have the last piece of the puzzle. I wonder how useful this will be in the long run... (edited)

D2: Eventually, it had to happen. We woke up to two dead bodies today: @Pechang, the Ghost Captain, and @Prince Luned of Orakzeth. I assume the wolves are responsible for both of these. We did correctly guess @Imperial Knight Favik was responsible for trying to poison the king. And now the tournament prize has gone missing! What a catastrophe. It seems like @Blin the Armorer survived the night, I'll press him on this. Right away, @Archmage Vezian of the Arcaneum has said they would like to become reporter. @Pirate Captain Andar immediately responded asking whether they were the chef. And @Archmage Vezian of the Arcaneum admitted to it. They say they will stay neutral and make the reporter list public, but I don't fully buy it. This could very well be a fake claim, and even if it wasn't chef can't stay neutral the entire game. Their waiters will die. When pressing them on why aren't they using the food mechanic to confirm themselves publicly, they said they already used that ability to send protection to their waiters. @Blin the Armorer showed up during the conversation and I took the chance to ask on his aliveness. He responded he had been wagered by the devil and used the protection ability. @Melodie the Dressmaker also woke up and claimed Royal Knight to run for reporter. I doubt this is a bluff, too risky. She says she ignored the Cerberus wager, and only said she would use it to discourage night attacks against her. We have decided to make her reporter, as well as select her for the lynch. This way, if she is fake, she will die. If she isn't, we'll get a trusted reporter. Hopefully we can use this opportunity to get a plan for town , I'll claim to her after the phase change. I have decided to add a "confirmation code" to the diary, since it may be good to have one that doesn't rely on any players being alive. I have posted it publicly in the#banquet-hall. N3: I am late in writing this entry, but I have been very busy. This night, everything went wrong. I told @Melodie the Dressmaker that I started the game as dog and turned into journalist. I added a code to this journal so you could confirm yourself to her should I die. Unfortunately... hell team killed her immediately after. I believe she managed to transmit my claim and the information about the public code to the jurors before this happened. Soon after, @Accountant Ertl Eswuh ran into the #castle-grounds , and exposed the alleged reporter results: @Prince Luned of Orakzeth was a wolf, and @Pechang, the Ghost Captain a Juror. This information should not have been made public. @Blin the Armorer attempted to get control of the situation, by getting a coroner claim to confirm @Accountant Ertl Eswuh. Announcing this publicly was also an error. This revealed that @Accountant Ertl Eswuh claimed to be a town killing role responsible for one of the deaths that had happened so far (supposedly @Prince Luned of Orakzeth). This information would also explain why @Melodie the Dressmaker would have given reporter results to @Accountant Ertl Eswuh. After this, @Blin the Armorer tried to get a priest to claim to him. I asked what I thought was obvious, whether it was fishing for a counter claim to @Accountant Ertl Eswuh, but @Blin the Armorer said it wasn't. This of course means @Accountant Ertl Eswuh must have claimed assassin, and supposedly used one of her kills on someone unconfirmed. But no one trusted @Blin the Armorer without his own public claim, so @The Knight of Cookies took it to himself to organize town and publicly claimed huntress. We then proceeded to wait for a counter claim, which never happened. In the meantime, we solved the mystery of the missing pirate by collecting pieces of a treasure map. (edited)

D3: Instead of a counter claim, what we got in the phase change was a way more grim situation. 5 deaths. @The Knight of Cookies was attacked by the wolfpack, taking @Wyliam of New Scoria with him. He wasn't lying, he truly was the huntress. As a result of this, @Blin the Armorer also died; he was the cupid, and @The Knight of Cookies was his lover. On top of that; @Imperial Lady Anna, and @Ettard the Librarian were also found dead. Interestingly enough, @Accountant Ertl Eswuh survived, and would later claim to have killed @Prince Luned of Orakzeth, just as randomly as she killed @Prince Luned of Orakzeth. sigh So, we are now lacking any sort of direction. And up to 2 people may have been sabotaged and won't be able to be elected today. I have decided to claim my role to @Accountant Ertl Eswuh. I am not that critical to town and she hasn't been counter claimed yet. I really hope this doesn't backfire later. I'll add a code for her at the start of the journal, but won't share the public confirmation with her yet just in case. The jurors already have it anyways. She confirmed my suspicions and claimed assassin to me. Shortly after, @Accountant Ertl Eswuh made a public announcement, once again claiming assassin. It was here that she said she only had one shot left: the other ones were used on @Prince Luned of Orakzeth and @Prince Luned of Orakzeth, respectively. She said that @Hugh of the Mystical Isles had claimed runner to her so we would elect him, and that we should lynch @Noisy Merchant from Kondiz for "claiming cit and seeming fake". @Noisy Merchant from Kondiz responded by saying that of course they seemed suspicious, since they were forced to claim by @Accountant Ertl Eswuh, who just opened a cc and straight up said that if they didn't claim she would get them lynched straight away. It was here that @Accountant Ertl Eswuh changed her mind: she said that a juror had reached out to her* and told her to "change the lynch to @Mr. Turbertus T. Legarda because jurors checked @Mr. Turbertus T. Legarda as huntsman and he came up fake". ????? This makes no sense. Several hours have passed and I still haven't figured out how this message could have been sent by a member of town. Pinging everyone in the game. First off, jurors don't check for a role. They check a person and get whatever role that person has. Second, if a scum role is checked by the jurors, it is announced in #story_time. Third, jurors should not claim to @Accountant Ertl Eswuh, she isn't confirmed... This juror could be fake, but @Accountant Ertl Eswuh avoided all questions about the matter. Instead, when these issues were pointed out, she made another public announcement asking for @The Queen of Mindar to be lynched. The reasoning was "He fake claimed medium instead of stating a question during n1 he just said nobody died which how would he know that nobody died at that time he asked his question n1". Then phantom panicked and started adding everyone to the cc this was supposedly said in... And @Accountant Ertl Eswuh had just misread a message. He's still getting lynched though. I hope he's scum, if only by chance. Because this investigation has definitely been a clusterfuck. (edited)

N4: @Hugh of the Mystical Isles has been successfully elected as mayor, and @The Queen of Mindar has been lynched. We also were right on the call that @Queen Bartholomew of Bartholoton was the royals' mistress. It appears one of his dead horses has died in a weird incident in the #banquet-hall . Poor guy must be having a rough day. I'll write something down to read at the funeral. @Accountant Ertl Eswuh has just told me to change the journal target to citizen, and so I obliged.
