Every night, the Oracle can select two players and see if they have the same current alignment as each other. Each player can only be checked once.

Details

Each night, the Oracle can inspect two players. The Oracle will be told whether they have the same current alignment or not. The Oracle can select itself as one of the two players, but can only select each player once throughout the game. Inspecting players is an immediate ability. Unaligned roles (if they are still unaligned) have the same alignment as each other, solo roles on opposing teams do not. Some roles' current alignments may be different than their role's starting alignment (e.g. Cupid, Cupid's Lover). The Oracle is not affected by disguises or obstructions, but is affected by redirections.

well seeing as i can only check people and myself once the best thing for me to do is to check myself and whoever becomes mayor during n2 because checking someone against myself is the only way i'm getting certain information for now but since idk who's gonna volunteer themselves i don't wanna waste my ability to do that so i guess my best bet is skipping tonight...?

if i check swurtle against ddd tonight. if they're the same alignment and swurtle gets nked then they're probably both town. if they're different alignments and swurtle gets nked then ddd is likely scum because i don't see how the other way around would work? and if swurtle doesn't get nked and they're the same alignment then either wolves fucked up or they're both wolves (because i really don't see why solo would go for mayor). i know i should probably not be checking people in the spotlight but at the same time i feel like this would give me the most info? and if ddd becomes huntress and is town then i'll have more information on who to target. eh we'll see if any developments happen but this seems. like a decent approach.
