Hags D0 / Choice
**A Spell for the Hag** The conclave of sorcerers has started, but you left your favorite spellbook at home! Luckily there's a couple of spellbooks in the library, but they won't let you take all of them. However, you can take two of three available ones with you and then later *one of them* will be your weapon for the remainder of the conclave. Which one would you like to *leave behind*? • "Defensive Charms for the Cautious" by Richard • "Vicious Spells to Murder Your Enemies With" by Adaranth Grimsbane • "Prophecies & Divination" by Alisoun Runewyck Choose wisely and carefully @, your life may depend on it.
N1 / Transformation => to Cautious Hag
**Defensive Charms for the Cautious** After reading through your books, you finally decided on "Defensive Charms for the Cautious". Protective spells just are the best choice for such uncertain times. You've now become a **Cautious Hag** and may use your spell of protection once, whether that be during this night or a future one. Do you wish to do so now @?
=> to Prophetic Hag
**Prophecies & Divination** After reading through your books, you finally decided on "Prophecies & Divination". Using the power of prophecy you may just be able to find out who was behind the murder. You've now become a **Prophetic Hag** and may use your spell of prophecy once, whether that be during this night or a future one. Do you wish to do so now @?
Mat check Wyatt
**Your First Prophecy** You use your spell to see @Wyatt#0745, and your spell reveals the truth to you. @Wyatt#0745's alignment is **Townsfolk**. After casting the spell you feel all your magical energy leave you. You will not be able to use your spell again for now.
Fake Hag
**A Real Hag** Well I can't answer your question, but I can offer you some access to my library. Perhaps one of the books there will give you some inspiration on what type of hag you could pretend to be. Here's some books of my collection: • "Defensive Charms for the Cautious" by Richard • "Vicious Spells to Murder Your Enemies With" by Adaranth Grimsbane • "Prophecies & Divination" by Alisoun Runewyck

Huntress D0
**An Enchanted Arrow** @Marten#0988 had been assassinated!? If the greatest enchanter of the millenia could be slain, would it be safe, even here at the conclave? No, you couldn't be sure of that. Magic may have been forbidden at the conclave for safety reasons, but a little bit of enchanting has never hurt anyone. "Percutiens Vero Sagitta," you chant after grabbing an arrow, enchanting it to strike true, even if an attacker had incapacitated you. But who would dare to attack you, the great @? Unfortunately, without a specific target the enchantment would surely fail. No, you had to made a choice. Who shall your arrow target?
"strike true, arrow"

**Secret Potion Bag** So it seems like somebody that uses potions was involved in the murder. Well, we both know it wasn't you. So, better hide that potion bag of yours @Wyatt#0745, there's no need to make anyone suspicious. That __Potion of Life__:potion_of_life: you could probably explain away, but your __Potion of Death__:potion_of_death:? Difficult to explain. Anyway, probably a bad time to get more brewing supplies, so looks like you're stuck with just these two potions. Do you wish to use a potion tonight?

**A Final Spell** @Marten#0988 had been assassinated!? If the greatest enchanter of the millenia could be slain, would it be safe, even here at the conclave? No, you couldn't be sure of that. Magic may have been forbidden at the conclave for safety reasons, but a little bit of spellwork has never hurt anyone. Perhaps a little spell to reveal whoever would dare to attack you? Well, perhaps in your dreams, that spell is yet far above your level. However, what if it were to target one specific person? Yes, that should be doable. But who to target?
Target
**Targetting the Captain** "ረሁቻቻሃ የዪጎክርቿየነ ዪቿሀቿረልዪቿ," you chant. Setting your target to @Captain Luffy#9889. At least for now. You could probably get away with casting the spell once per day without anyone noticing.

Journalist D0
**The Empty Spellbook** 'Someone is out there going around murdering sorcerers?', you thought, 'No, no, I cannot allow it, I the great <@334066065112039425> will burn them all alive!'. You grab your spell book, ready to pick the most devastating fire spell in it, but once you open it... you find all the pages are blank. You must have accidentally brought a journal instead of your trusted spellbook. Well, there's nothing you can do about your mistake now. At very least you can make use of your journal. Perhaps you could write down whoever you suspect, and should you fall someone may find your notes useful. But which sort of person should you leave your journal to? Just a plain Mage, or the powerful Witch instead? Choose wisely.

Clairvoyant Fox D0
**The Last Fox** The conclave has finally arrived! Yeah, the murder is a bit unfortunate, but that wasn't about to ruin it for you. Finally your chance to show off your newly learned powers of clairvoyance to all the other magical foxes! Wait, but where were they? Did none of the other magical foxes make it? Sure looks like it. Hmm, perhaps you could dye your fur gray and try to fit in with the werewolves? Might be better than being all alone for the remainder of the conclave. But you remember something about the werewolves banning clairvoyance... <@413001114292846612>, do you wish to use your powers of clairvoyance to see the true face of one of your fellow mages, or would you rather try to fit in with the wolves, at the price of your power?
Reply
**Discovering the Journalist** `Steinator` was your choice. You chant the words and wait. Clairvoyance is nothing for the impatient, but finally a word appears in your mind **`Journalist`**. You have your answer.

Plague Doctor D0
**The Five Vials** Healing magic - perhaps not as powerful as Necromancy, but powerful in its own way. You didn't know why it was so rarely practised here, but peer pressure wasn't about to make you stop. "<@544125116640919557> you should learn some real magic," they would always say, only to ask for your help if they themselves ever got sick. Pathetic. Now you only cared about two things: Yourself and ridding the world of disease. In your pouch you brought to the conclave __five__ freshly brewed __vials__ :test_tube::test_tube::test_tube::test_tube::test_tube: with you. A potent brew in them. Would they be needed? Probably not. But if it just so happened that a disease would start during these few days - you were ready.
N1
**Boredom** It's night and you find yourself bored. This whole Murder thing is of no interest to you. You could always check if anyone needs any curing of any disease and cure them, but it doesn't seem like anyone could've gotten sick just hours after arriving. Guess you'll probably just have to relax for the night.

Plague Bearer D0
**Revenge** @Marten#0988 dead? It couldn't be, but yet you knew it to be true. @Suso#0943 may not have said so, but to you it was immediately clear. One of the other sorcerers had done it. You didn't know who, but it didn't matter. Nobody could escape <@152875086213283841>'s wrath. *All* of them would have to *die*, only then would @Marten#0988 be avenged. Luckily you were prepared, __five rodents__ :rat: were hidden in the things you brought to the conclave. Just a simple spell and they'd be contaminated by the plague, ready to contaminate a target of your choice. Then, the plague would spread and kill them all. Yes, the plan was perfect.
N1
**The First Rodent** It was time. You grab the first of your rodents. "ጠሁነ የዪዐየልኗልፕጎዐክቿጠ ጠዐዪጌሁነ" you chant, contaminating it with the plague. A simple, but effective spell only known to you. Not just anyone could replicate the spellwork of the great <@152875086213283841>. Now there was just one thing left to do: Picking the target.
"mouse, spread the plague/death" N1 end
**The Plague Begins** After initially planning to simply teleport your rodent, you finally decide against it. It would be too risky to use yet another spell. You finally decide to manually deliver it to just outside @Jayanna#2306's room. As you return to your room unnoticed you hear a voice in the corridors. "ፕሁ ጠዐዪጎቿዪጎነ," it whispers, "ዒሁጎነዒሁቿ ቻልርፕሁዪሁነ ቿነፕ." You look around but nobody is nearby. Slightly confused and a bit anxious you finally reach your room. What was that?
You will die, everyone will.

Medium N1
**Dark Omen** The final meeting of the day has ended and you were getting ready to go to sleep. Your powers of being able to talk to the dead would not be any help, Marten's spirit wasn't lingering anywhere nearby. It wouldn't be able to answer any questions from <@298011058763726848>, the Medium. But out of nowhere a strange feeling overcomes you... someone would die tonight. You didn't know who or why, but you were certain it was going to happen. Even though nobody had died yet, you knew to ask a question the spirits of the dead. By the time the spirits were going to answer, someone was going to be dead. But what to ask when you didn't know who's spirit was going to answer?

**False Confidence** 'Everyone else discussing who had killed @Marten#0988 is not worth my time,' you think, 'It's *always* the werewolves, they should know that.' That house that burned down last week? The werewolves. That cake you burned a few days back? The werewolves had clearly sabotaged you. Yes, it's always the werewolves. 'I just wish they listened to me, the great and powerful <@599277045779922974>.' But what were you gonna do about it? It turns out, not much. With magic being forbidden there wasn't much you could do without anyone noticing. However, there was one thing. You could figure out *who* the werewolves were. Which person would you like to check?
Reply
**The First Check** You prepare to cast the spell to check @Jean D. Arch#1352, but suddenly you hear a voice. "ቻጎክጎነ የዪዐየቿ ቿነፕ," it whispers, but then it stops. A bit worried you begin your spell again, and it returns the result immediately: @Jean D. Arch#1352 is not part of the pack.

The others can worry about who killed Marten, but you have *priorities*. As long as the name of the deceased isn't <@426983895989485569>, why should you care... **Framed** "@Suso#0943 is it true? Was there a werewolf involved in the murder?", @kruthers#7770 asked. "It sure *seemed* that way," explained @Suso#0943, "however, I believe we have been framed. I don't believe any of you would have done this." The others agreed, none of them had done it. They had been framed. "We can't just let them get away with this," @Vera but actually a frog#4387 exclaimed, "we have to act. If they think it was us they'll hunt us down. Those haughty sorcerers have always considered us to be second class citizens of the magical community. They'll take their chance to act against us." The sentiment was shared by the other werewolves. "One sorcerer shall die tonight," @Sharl Eclair#5765 spoke, "but we need to choose wisely. Who is the most likely to be behind our framing?" Nobody knew, yet a choice had to be made. Who should die tonight? With that the secret meeting of the werewolves would take a short break, to give everyone some time to think about a potential target. @Swurtle#5617 went to leave the room, however he noticed something peculiar. "What's this? Somebody slipped a note under the door while we were talking." "Show it to us," @Sharl Eclair#5765 told him. ``\`fix 𝔐𝔶 𝔠𝔩𝔞𝔦𝔯𝔳𝔬𝔶𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔥𝔞𝔰 𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔴𝔫 𝔪𝔢... 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔍𝔬𝔲𝔯𝔫𝔞𝔩𝔦𝔰𝔱 ``\` "Hmm, it mentions the Journalist... what could that mean?", he asked.

**Some Serious Sabotage** Why would <@241992576973012994> want to vote for a @Judge (> 15) tomorrow? As much as you respected your fellow werewolf, that plan was just misguided. The sorcerers were just going to elect one of their own and then use "Justice" as an excuse when they would start hunting down the werewolves. No, it just wouldn't do. <@139855429357273088>, was your name and you would show how you earned it. Magic may be forbidden here, but a minor sabotating spell? Nobody would be able to detect that. You'd be able to stop *one* person from being votable for in the election... but who?

**The Voices** It's finally time to go to sleep, and you are *so* ready for it. You've been hearing voices all day and they just *will not* stop. "ዐጠክጎነ ፕሁ," you hear. "Not again!" you shout into the empty room. "ነርጎነ ቿፕ ጠዐዪጎቿፕሁዪ" they continue. "Can you just stop??" you continue in desperation. "\✘," they reply. "I'm so tired of this... wait, what? Did they just reply?" "\✔," they once again reply. "ክሁረረሁነ ቿነፕ ነልረሀሁነ," they start up again. But this time you barely notice. You've had an idea. "Am I the <@241992576973012994>?", you try. "\✔," they confirm. This could be useful. You may ask the voices about the true face of one other sorcerer and they will confirm or disconfirm it.
"everyone you / know will die" "nobody is safe" N1 Reply
**The First Question** The voices hear your question. "\:heavy_check_mark:," they answer. And you quickly tune them out as they continue with "ጠልኗጎርልቿ ክዐክ የቿዪጠልክቿጌጎፕ."

**More Death** Another two people dead, how horrible. 'Less people to sleep with,' you think. You contemplate the words of the Prophet, but you can't quite make sense of them. 'Honestly?', you think in denial, 'they are probably irrelevant for most of us @Magic Folk.' Anyway, it was time to choose your next person to sleep with. @matmeistress again would just be boring, no, you needed someone new.

Huntsman
**Search for the Pack** You were right after all, you knew it. @wyatt surely must have been killed by the werewolves, and they must have learned from their previous murder on @Marten#0988. This time they must've hidden the body so nobody could see that he too had been mauled by a werewolf. That was the only possibility you accepted, any other wouldn't even be worth your time. And @Prophet too. Poisoned by the werewolves, perhaps? The threat he mentioned could not be anything but the wolves. Anyway, it was time to hunt for some wolves. Last night's check clearly didn't trigger any alarms, just confirming what you already knew. You were better than the average @Magic Folk, and they couldn't detect your magic. But one question remained: Who to target tonight?
17:20
Medium / No Reply
**Silence of the Dead** @Bemo! The dead have heard your question and they have give you an answer! Their answer is... *nothing*. Nothing? Hmm, perhaps they didn't hear your question after all. Perhaps, @wyatt is still so shaken from his death he didn't have enough energy to answer. Perhaps, we will never know. Perhaps what the Prophet said had any relevance? No, surely not. Well, there's nothing that can be done now besides asking another question. What shall tonight's question be?

**Hindsight** In hindsight? Perhaps indiscriminately killing @Magic Folk with the hopes of finding the person responsible for framing you, wasn't the *best* plan you had ever had. And, after all it seemed like possibly everyone got framed? And this is what <@277156693765390337> tells the other wolves. "Perhaps we could've thought about the whole situation a bit more rationally, but it's too late to change course now. We have to commit to it and kill the other @Magic Folk until we can be sure the framer is dead," agreed <@241992576973012994>. And so the werewolves once again decided to kill. It was for the best they all agreed. <@139855429357273088> had spent the entire meeting watching the door. After you had figured out that a magical fox had slipped the note under the door the previous day, you were hoping to catch them in the act. They may not have been a wolf, but you'd welcome them into the pack all the same, if only you could find out who it was. It took only a few more minutes of waiting until today's note appeared. <@139855429357273088> immediately ran to the door and threw it open... but noboday was there. The fox had outsmarted you once again. Now there was nothing you could do, but read the note: ``\`fix 𝔗𝔬𝔡𝔞𝔶 ℑ 𝔥𝔞𝔳𝔢 𝔰𝔢𝔢𝔫... 𝔱𝔥𝔢 ℌ𝔲𝔫𝔱𝔯𝔢𝔰𝔰 ``\` <@139855429357273088> read it out to the other wolves. **Silence** Today the voices have been quiet since the morning, when they spoke to everyone in the hall. "Are you still here?", you asked them. "\✔," they replied, but stayed silent afterward. As long as they were still here to answer another question for you, it would be alright. @suso what will tonight's question be?

Your services as a doctor would be needed now, and you had 5 vials remaining :test_tube::test_tube::test_tube::test_tube::test_tube:. **The Plan** Stripped of your magic, exiled from the @Magic Folk, abandoned by everyone you walk through the streets. Would this really be the end of @swurtle? It just didn't seem real. But then you had a thought. The werewolves, they were a pack. The @Magic Folk may have exiled you, but surely the pack would still accept you. Yes, they would. Hope begins to fill you, but it is immediately crashed as a crossbow bolt strikes your back. You collapse to the ground and turn around. Just as another bolt hits you, you see the person responsible. It was @Ts#0001. As your life begins to slip away you hear him speak. "I'm no Warlock and it *disgusts* me to pretend to be one. Soon the world shall be free of magic."

The Pack Grows You discuss the day with each other, not fully happy with what happened, but at least one good thing happend since the last time you formally meet. You had finally found the magical fox. She told you her story, the only magical fox at the whole conclave. Where there no other magical foxes left in the world? Anyway, "What did you discover today @Leilabra Cadabra?", @Vera, Druid of the Spring asked. "Today I have found the Huntsman!" @Leilabra Cadabra announced excitedly, happy with what her clairvoyance had shown her today. Everyone was impressed by that discovery. "So who are we killing today?", asked @Supreme Sorcerer Suso. (edited)

You collapse to the ground and can barely still move. You know this is the end, you didn't know what had happened, but you weren't going to survive the night. Huntsman Time to murder some werewolves!! Or, at least that's what you wish you could do. But no, "No magic at the conclave," they said. What a stupid rule. Looks like the only thing you could do was try to find more werewolves. Ugh, how you wish you could murder them. Anyway, it was time to leave the meeting and return to your room, so you could secretly cast your spell there. On the way to your room, you hear a voice, "ዐጠክጎነ ፕሁ," it whispers.
