Same thing pretty much happened to me my first game with the whole mayor Bob thing

I thanked him afterwards, never forgetting IW again

But yeah they were rather ruthless with you

Glad you decided to come back and try again tho, even if your game hasn't been that interesting this time so far

Cit is a hard role to know how to play, especially when it is the only claimspace everyone is using

And all the disguises in game come back as it

And the Ti can't see through disguises

Disguise mechanic is one of few things I am not ever try to understand lol.

Well, there's strong and weak ones

The devil and demon have weak ones

Which they get to choose, but default to cit and given there were 3 real cits in game is probably what both chose

Then there's sneaking wolf, which has a strong disguise as cit

Unfortunately, the only investigation we have that bypasses weak disguises is the Ranger

But their target is only revealed in story time when they die. And even that doesn't bypass strong disguises

So when Ethan died and his target Sharl was given as Cit in Story time there was a 3/4 chance that was true

Them then getting killed, not by town, makes it almost certain they were however, but even without that was the best odds we can get really
