I mean, honestly it was nice.
I guess your scent scared it all the way to limited.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:09 AM
well hey
its not really suitable for ranked games
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:09 AM
That's true
Do you want to role exchange?
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:13 AM
if you want to, though i dont know if itll help town very much
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:13 AM
What do you mean by that 👀
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:14 AM
oh i mean n1 claims usually help wolves more
allows them to make a more informed kill
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:15 AM
Ehh, I disagree in this role setup
We don't have any super easy confirmable town roles.
So we have to rely on TIs
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:15 AM
yea
but theres a lot of them
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:16 AM
There's 3 of them? And 2 of them share on one night.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:16 AM
plus a probable town crier in the form of dog (edited)

Werewolves Bot B BOT 23-Jun-21 01:16 AM
Dog | Unaligned Align Based During Night 1, the Dog may choose between town crier, cursed civilian or wolf, and will immediately become this role for the rest of the game. Details Choosing a role is an immediate ability. If the Dog hasn’t chosen a role before the night ends, the dog will be given the role of the citizen. After choosing a role the Dog is no longer unaligned.
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:16 AM
Ehh, I can see what you mean.
If Dog goes TC, then claims to know who the town is, that town can be confirmed.
It gets really dicey though if TC finds a TI as confirmed town though.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:17 AM
the tc themself can claim
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:17 AM
They could fake it though quite easily.
Only the Dog knows if they actually chose TC or not.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:18 AM
well not easily
the only wolf invest is not in pack
and tc would have to know their targets role
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:19 AM
You're right it's probably harder than I thought
But if Dog gets in contact with a wolf they could fake it a little easier
granted wolfpack would have to be cautious that Dog isn't baiting them.
I was thinking exchanging roles now would make it easier for AT to make an informed check, so we can have a better idea who to lynch tomorrow.
but you wouldn't have this conversation as AT, so I don't mind holding off until tomorrow, if you're ok with that.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:21 AM
we can claim today if you want, im just you know
a bit hesitant to? idk the right word
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:22 AM
I understand.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:23 AM
cuz i noticed the meta in this game is that once a town trusted happens, people stop claiming, so most of wolves info is from n1 claims
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:23 AM
N1 claims are much much worse in a setup with an confirmed town role like trickster/bartender
But how would town trusted be formed?
without those roles
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:24 AM
i guess theres jury

Juror | Townsfolk Group | Limited Based The Jurors have a secret channel where they can communicate among themselves securely. During even nights, the jury votes to investigate a player. If the jury successfuly investigates a non-town role, it is announced. Details The Juror is part of the jury. During even nights, the jury can vote to investigate a player. The jury recieves the result of the investigation at the end of the night. If the result of the investigation shows a non-town role, the role is announced publicly. The jury is disbanded if there are 1 or less Jurors left; this means the jury is active only if atleast two Jurors are alive. Any member of the jury, even if they lose their role, can still vote on who to investigate. One of the Jurors that has voted for the jury's target is randomly chosen as the investigator, who performs the investigations. The jury is affected by weak disguises and obstructions. These effects are seen from the investigator's perspective.

Every other night one person gets added?
Surely you know how slow that is.l
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:24 AM
no its fortune teller on even nights
but as town group
kinda like cult
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:25 AM
Wait...
What do they do on odd nights?
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:25 AM
@Tasmanian Spice i noticed a typo in juror desc. one part has no space between words
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:25 AM
I was under the impression that it was similar to baker/except that it was FT on even nights.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:25 AM
yup
thats correct
Avatar
Pepper 23-Jun-21 01:26 AM

$roles get juror $roles set juror "<changed description>"
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:28 AM
It seems you're under the impression that Jurors being group makes it better for one of them to out publically.
essentially losing the FT checks, in order to gain claims for a town trusted.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:29 AM
well no i mean it makes them confirmable
compared to FT
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:30 AM
I mean yeah, they're going to be confirmable pretty easily, but I don't think that's going to be problem regardless. What I'm scared of is confirming who the 3 citizens are at the endgame.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:31 AM
the thing is that one could claim tomorrow without too much lost because they still get to perform their action the following night and its unlikely that both would survive to night 4 anyways
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:32 AM
I honestly just assumed jurors would try to stay hidden in order for them to hopefully last to night 4.
But if one of the jurors does in fact do that, it's more logical to hold off claiming on N1.
First time with the role in the game, let's see what they do.
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:33 AM
yea
if one dies tonight then im sure the smart thing to do is claim tomorrow
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:34 AM
Definitely
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:34 AM
speaking of
i dont know if it was real or not
but i think harper claimed it in town square early on
Avatar
Lemongrass 23-Jun-21 01:35 AM
I don't think that was that serious tbh
Avatar
Garlic 23-Jun-21 01:36 AM
i hope not

Oof
I expected Jurors to fakeclaim as well, so that they wouldn't be outed as obvious
