the Lone Wolf is one

so there's 17 strangers

there's 6 wolves, but the LW is one of them

so 5/17 people are friendly

that's a 29.41% chance of friendly fire for a random choice

if two Butchers are known to the Lone Wolf

i.e. you and someone

then there's 15 unknowns and 2 Butcher or Bloody Butcher

attacking one of the Butchers is a terrible idea as there can be a 50% chance of hitting the Bloody Butcher

and even hitting a Butcher isn't even good for the wolves

however what the Lone Wolf would do is attack not-Butcher

since not-Butcher contains all the powerful roles and solos

this leaves 15 people to attack (-1 for Lone Wolf, -2 for the 2 Butchers)

5 of these are wolves, 10 of these are town/solo

if the Bloody Butcher isnt in the 2 Butchers

if the Bloody Butcher is part of the 2 Butcher it's 4 and 11 town/solo

the chance for that are 33.33% if the Bloody Butcher not revealed or 26.66% if the Bloody Butcher revealed (avg 30.00%) friendly fire 66.66% if the Bloody Butcher not revealed or 73.33% if the Bloody Butcher revealed (avg 70.00%) enemy hit

the standard worry for revealing the Butchers is that the LW will have a target

however if only 2 Butchers are revealed he cant attack butchers because the chance of hitting Bloody is too high, if he attacks a not-Butcher the chance of hitting an ally is 30.00%

this means the info of knowing only 2 Butchers is effectively worthless to the Lone Wolf, knowing all three butchers could be considered an advantage because then if the LW attacks butcher: 33.33% friendly fire 66.66% Butcher dead

with 3 I'm unsure

Depending on how the GM's run the game they may or may not disband the Butchers if there are no Butchers left (edited)

I can't access the info of the Butcher channel so I'm not sure if that's mentioned or if it was something that was removed at some point
