Mad Scientist | Townsfolk Killing Basics The Mad Scientist has two subjects, from two different teams. If killed, their targeted subject will also die. Details At the start of the game, the Mad Scientist is assigned two players. They interrogate their subjects and, before the Mad Scientist dies, they must choose one of the two assigned players to take with them to their death. They will have a secret channel together with their two targets, and they also have a channel alone, where they will decide on who they want to attack if they are killed. The Mad Scientist can choose a target, even if the target is already dead. The two targets are always on two different teams (excluding Unaligned), so either Town + Werewolf / Town + Solo / Werewolf + Solo. Attacking the other player is an immediate ability.

Details When an immediate ability is used on the Bard, it is immediately narrated. End abilities are narrated at the end of the phase. If the Bard changes roles, abilities are no longer narrated. The narrated info is precise and reveals both the ability (e.g. “attacked”) and the cause (e.g. “Assassin”), however further details are not revealed (e.g. if a tanner disguises the Bard, it is narrated that it happened, however the applied disguise is not revealed). Manipulator | Townsfolk Power Basics Each night, the Manipulator may seduce a player and steal their abilities or make use of a stolen ability. Details At night, if the Manipulator chooses to steal a player’s ability (end night) they will be notified of what ability they stole and if it had charges, but not the player they stole from’s role. If a player has multiple abilities, only one will be stolen. The stolen ability is randomly chosen in this scenario. Abilities will have one charge left, no matter how many they had before being stolen, unless they had zero, in which case they are unusable, but still stolen. At day, the Manipulator may use as many abilities as they want, but at night, they may not use more than one, meaning if they steal, no other actions may be taken. The player who had their ability stolen will be notified of this the next time they would’ve had a chance to use it. If a player dies the night they were chosen to be seduced, their powers will not be stolen. Players who have already been seduced may not be seduced again.
