I'm around although I really shouldn't be
I got like a 40 page report due like a week
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:45 PM
busy end of the year???
damn
homework
Donner30-Dec-20 06:45 PM
and a group coursework that my group are really slacking for
that's also a 20 page report
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:46 PM
i will write 2 pages of ur report
if u give me ur role
pog
Donner30-Dec-20 06:47 PM
Ok so you need to talk about peer to peer communication to create a merge network using Arduinio Max's then talk about creating a Real Time Database using Firebase then importing into a Android app
To create real time door tracking network for Alzheimer patients so that relative/carers can know if they've left the house and need to come over
That's the group coursework
Then the dissertation is recreating a quadruped robot dog based on the Boston Dynamics spot
So I need like 40 references on plastics and servo's and the history of robotics
Take your pick of the two (edited)
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:49 PM
hmm
idk the first one seems spooky
if not applied only to patients
Donner30-Dec-20 06:50 PM
It's more angled at care homes
according to our Course Leader we're morally and legally fine
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:51 PM
right
but the knowledge can be transferred vry easily
very creepy
Donner30-Dec-20 06:51 PM
Nah it's encyrpted
That's the whole point of using Firebase
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:51 PM
by knowledge i mean technique
not database
Donner30-Dec-20 06:52 PM
I mean kind of but then it's just a door sensor
point of ours is whether we know someone is walking in or out
Frostlet30-Dec-20 06:53 PM
well arduino max probably has a sensor you can communicate with
but you'd need wifi
and some kind of infrared
to see if a dooro pens
seems scuffed
Frostlet30-Dec-20 07:01 PM
can u tell me ur role pog
i think ur journo
but i am not certain
Donner30-Dec-20 07:08 PM
You use a PIR sensor but you've got to get a narrow lense one and those are expensive
Damn any one tell you or a lucky guess I am journo
Also sorry for the slow reply I was making peppercorn sauce(edited)
