Charming Bandit | Charm Power
Basics
Each night, the Charming Bandit may convince two companions. If all living companions are either convinceed or Charming Bandit(s), the Charming Bandit(s) win.
Details
Whenever a companion is convinceed, they will join a secret channel with the other convinceed companions, excluding the Charming Bandit(s). The Charming Bandit(s) may see everything said in this channel, from the safety of their own secret channel.
If an convinceed companion is a role like peeking researcher, cunning survivor, selfish augur or peeking scavenger, their powers will also be obstructed. Whenever they attempt to inspect/seek a companion, they will have a 60% chance that the companion is displayed as the Charming Bandit, and a 40% chance that they are displayed as their actual role (or the role the fashion designer has disguised them as). This effect will disappear once all the Charming Bandits are dead. The companions are not told when the effect disappears.
Convincing a companion is an immediate ability.
If there are multiple alive Charming Bandits, then they are one team, and they will work together. If there is more than one companion in the Charming Bandit channel, at the start of the night, each Charming Bandit will be able to convince one companion. If a Charming Bandit turns nightdwellers, they will lose their ability to convince companions, however if there is still one or more Charming Bandit(s) alive, the turned Charming Bandit will still be asked to convince somebody.
