Details
The Investigator has access to a secret channel with the roles of the dead. The roles given are impervious to powers such as the charming bandit or fashion designer. The roles given are always the role that companion was originally assigned; a dog who chooses to become a impressionable youth, then gets turned into a selfish survivor and finally dies will be shown to the Investigator as dog. The Investigator can be a powerful role to help either the surviving team or the motorcyclists team, but they tend to garner a lot of attention and may be killed quickly. The Investigator is elected on the first full day with a living Chief Survivor and no living Investigator.
