After all, the bakers generally form their own guild - a secret guild - and the loss of one of their members would be a worthy sacrifice if it results in the expansion of their guild to include more members they can trust to not spill their secrets

Well if you put it that way, I feel no need to hide the fact that I myself am a Partisan of the Pastry. I shall however not reveal the identities of my fellow Baking Enthoused yet for the simple fact that bread thieves would do more harm to themselves in stealing from me before they know where to get bread after I go bankrupt. It is merely a safety measure.
