I came up with this idea when I got together with some friends of mine, called Raymond and Dom. They are good looking lads, if I do say so myself. Quite good at getting innocent people to do whatever they want without much in return. I think the kids these days call it 'Simping'. Together with them, and some of my younger friends, Timmy and Tommy, we came up with a great deal that would eventually give us lots of money. The Nook Inc. Deserted Island Getaway Package is a great deal where we, for the small price of about $60,00, let the participant move into a completely deserted island. The participant, of course excited to start a new life, will move there in but a tent. From that point on, they have to gather and sell stuff to Timmy and Tommy, and with that money, they have to pay everything. They're helpless. Their house, their infrastructure, all their creations, they have to pay me. Everything they do costs money. And the moeny always comes back to me or my business partners. See, every island needs more inhabitants. So, this is where Raymond and Dom come in. As I said before, millions of people will so called 'simp' for them. They'd give away their live savings to get them on their island. And so they will. They practically beg me for another payment method that I created, so called 'Nook Miles'. They gather those Nook Miles by doing tasks I'm not in the mood to do, most of the time that ends up profitable for us. And with those 'Nook Miles', worth thousands more than the island currency 'Bells', they buy 'Nook Mile Tickets', which all cash in nicely for us, and they use ten or even hundreds of those to get Raymond or even Dom on their island. But another thing is that they can only get Raymond or Dom on their island with the Online Package, meaning they have to pay even! more!
And all that while I just sit back and do nothing all day. Because more and more people pay me but they don't always get much in return.
