I call it Alchemist

Basically

There would be more roles than players in the set

And it would be X more

X being the number of Alchemist

And so the Alchemist and choose a player to be the out of play role

And whoever they choose has that player's previous role out of play

And so similar to Thiefs, they win if they alive to the end
