@Participant hey guys, your fatherly Vyryn here again to give some advice to everyone. As usual, these are all 100% true general strategy points applied to this game. This post helps townies more than wolves or solo due to the nature of information; they know more than we do, so coordinating in this manner helps balance that. So the first reason for these is to help the town of course. The second reason I make these posts is that it raises the level of play somewhat; people make a bit less stupid mistakes. If you have a role I haven't mentioned, the reason is that giving you a tip wouldn't help the town team. - To the wolves and the cult alike: each other and the vampire are obvious threats, but don't forget the flute player. They can creep up on us, being a single night away from winning before anyone realizes it. If that happens, it's up to you to kill them or you lose. Don't play the fool's game of hoping the other team's killing role takes care of the flute player for you. - Crowd seeker, focus on journalist, macho, runner and huntress claims for the first few nights. you're much more likely to spot liars that way. - Witch, save your potion of life for when it can protect more than 1 person in a single night if possible; it can be more impactful than you think. - Assassin and lone wolf, please don't randomly kill people. Lone wolf has high stakes for doing so while assassin is likely to really hurt their team if they do so. - Journalists, leave your journals to the assassin until you have good reason to think they are dead. By far, they benefit the most from your info if you die in the early to mid game. - Machos and runners, take some risks for the team and find out what you can. - Cupid, choose wisely. *I* would love for you to select a wolf, but you certainly wouldn't ;)
