Basics
The Guest Of Honour leads the guest. They have the privilege of being able to post in #story_time and receive an extra vote in polls. When there are more than 15 living players, instead of an extra vote the Guest Of Honour chooses each day whether the top one or the top two players being voted on will be lynched.
Details
The Guest Of Honour can be a powerful role to help either the gate crasher team or the soviet union supporters team, but they tend to garner a lot of attention and may be killed quickly. If the Guest Of Honour misuses their ability to post in #story_time, they may be demoted or killed at the discretion of the Game Masters. The Guest Of Honour may resign from his post (end day/end night), and a new Guest Of Honour will be elected on the next full day following their resignation. In some themed games, the Guest Of Honour may be called something else, but they are always the only living participant with a yellow name.
