The boat was created somewhat recently when the daughter of a duke from a province in northen germany, which was at that point still part of the holy empire, decided that she would love to got to britain for once in her life. The germans however had very limited acces to the sea, and what little they had was controlled by the danish. One of the southern denish provinces was especially tyranical in its controll over the waters north of germany. This caused a fierce hatred between the two groups of royalty. The daughter of the duke however wanted to go to denmark to ask for permission to set sail. During her attendance however she got thrown into the dungeon and taking hostage. (it contineus but i might reach discord limit so itll be in next message)
Whilst in the dungeon the daughter duke of the denish province would go down into the dungeon often to check if the german girl was okay and tried to make her imprisonment as pleasant as she possibly could. this interraction eventually grew into a love that they both shared for eachother. (stockholm syndrom might have a part in this however). And one day the danish girl decided to go against her fathers wishes and plan for her and the german girl to both escape onto the sea's. Thusly the boat named Cupid's arrow was commisioned and made and they eventually managed to escape on to the seas together with this boat.
the ship has a really romantic story but people generally dislike it (remember this game is set in like 16th century) because of its progressive nature.
