Thief | Unaligned Basics Each night the Thief chooses a player to switch roles with. Details Each night the Thief chooses a player with whom they'll switch roles. This makes them permanently lose the Thief role (unless somebody else switch with them again), the next night the new Thief has to switch with another player. Switching roles is an end night effect, but happens before other end night effects such as kills. Switching roles with somebody part of a group, removes them from the group and adds the former Thief into it. Switching roles is a forced effect.

Role based effects are switched this includes: Souls, Prayers, Being in Love (Cupid), Having used your Scared Wolf ability, Being part of groups you betrayed as Undead/Zombie, Being lonely or not as Lone Wolf, etc. Player based effects aren't switched. The player based effects are: Demonized, Plague Infected, Soulless, Blessed, Enchanted, Powdered, Being the Lover

@McTsts What happens if I swap myself with a member of the vampire team? Will I remain infected by PB or is that completely overridden

The infected is kept, but won't count as long as you're Vampire

Basically we 'remove' it, but readd it if you stop being a Vampire

If you're a Vampire the infected definitely won't work though (you'll just die if you're killed while being Vampire)

Can we name the rival groups here tbh Plagueabearer - Vampire Archangel - Devil So it means the vamp can't demonize someone who's already been infected by PB and same with Devil they can't wager anyone blessed?

You're right about vamp/plague

Flute and Pyro have no counterpart

Blessed and Soulless is seperate

We only had to do the infected/demonized split because people can't both turn into undead/zombie

soulless/blessed at the same time causes no issues, so that's fine
