Switching roles with somebody part of a group, removes them from the group and adds the former Thief into it. Switching roles is a forced effect.

the other thieves switch out and the wolf trail goes dead
the og wolf switches back to being a wolf
so a townsperson gets blamed for being a wolf amongst a load of other wolves
which really fucks them up

The new wolves (theives) haven't been ratted out and have no reason to be suspected
the og switched wolf gets to be a wolf again but everyone thinks they're a normal guy since him ratting would be self sabotage
but he's a wolf
If wolves find out, I just switch to being a wolf, so if they kill me, they lose a wolf
