The game has been designed in such a manner that it is allowed to not be very active, but it felt dishonest to some active players that they died very quickly, and the inactives got to see the end of the game without doing anything.
We have decided not to discourage absence, but instead encourage presence. You can now earn blood points <:blood:384414366897930240> as a player, when you are really active.
How do you earn blood points? Did you say something funny? Did you just mislead another player in a masterful way? Did you make a great discovery? Did you have a good talk? Were you roleplaying well? Then the @Game Masters will add the <:blood:384414366897930240> reaction to your message. This means that you have earned a blood point.
I've got a few blood points. So what? When you have reached a certain amount of blood points (we will keep it a secret for now), you will gain a DM of the @Game Masters, which will tell you that you reached the maximum. With your blood points, you can buy an invisibility cloak that will prevent you from getting killed by any team. (All other effects, like curses, fortune telling, crowd seeking etc. will still work)
Can I stack my invisibility cloaks? No. When you buy an invisibility cloak, you will lose all your earned blood points. Once you used your invisibility cloak, you can start earning blood points again.
Can I give my invisibility cloak away? Sure! If you think you're safe, but your ally needs to be protected, you can just give your cloak away to someone in need. They will know they gained a free cloak, but they won't know who gave it to them. So you'll get to choose whether you tell them it was you...
Oh, another thing; it seems like Discord has a 100 channel limit. This means that we'll have to start to throw away old season channels! ๐ญ

What, did you like the stories of TumbleTown and Verdict Village? You want to hear another story? Alright, then let's make it a good one. This one's about Evil End, a small village near the borders of our neighbouring country, where travelers stopped to sleep for one night. And it seems like one of Daniels children had passed by. "It happens every winter," <@!271399293372334081> told the others in the #s3_tavern. "This town is plagued every year by werewolves!" @Leviticus, @ProNoob135 and the @Lord of Galaxy were listening, but they didn't believe him. Sure, the previous winter, <@!247821704431140864> had found a dead body in an alleyway, with two strange marks in their neck, but that was all. No fur, no murder, no unexpected deaths.
But they didn't know a son of Daniel had visited the town. They had recruited and infected some people, and they were living among the city already. Noone realised that tonight, their town would start to fall.
Noone expected a thing. @Predator123s kept on hunting, @Unbihexium continued to keep bees, @๏ผฆ๏ผฒ๏ผฏ๏ผบ๏ผฅ๏ผฎ ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ and @PenGuIsReAl were giving sacrifices to the gods, @The Last Angel To Fall and @Ben the Devil continued being weird... yes, everything seemed like the town would have many years to stand.
Until @Legolas and @HurricanKai arrived. They had entered the tavern, where they gathered a whole crowd. "Watch out," they said. @marhjo, @Vyryn and @Ruebe5w tried to listen, while <@!239602972797960193> and @BhunaBoy were focusing on their beverages. "The gods have told us that many curses have fallen upon this town - simultaneously." @Phil Inc. and <@!137268957802397696> didn't like it, so they proposed to name a @Mayor; for some reason, they never had one: the town always seemed to be doing fine without it.

And so the town chose their @Mayor: they almost seemed to be split up, but it was finally @BenTechy66 who managed to become elected! "Thank you, thank you," he said. "I will protect as many as I can, may there truly be a curse upon Evil's End." With those words, the town happily went to sleep.
But what they didn't know, was what giant misery was awaiting them. A handful of people slowly started lowering their voices, growing much more hair, gaining sharper teeth....

The day started very early with a loud scream, coming from the #s3_town_square. Many recognized <@!265936541908467724>'s voice, so they decided to ignore it. What they didn't know, was that it wasn't one of his screams when attacking a random bystander; this time, it would be his last. For he was brutally murdered! When @everyone had woken up and found <@!265936541908467724>'s body, they all wondered how this could've happened. Or... well, they did know what was going on. The curse that @everyone had been talking about.... could it be true? Could this mean... that they were DOOMED? If that was not all, it also turned out that their beloved count, noone else than @Leviticus, was dead as well! He was barely recognizable, but the pile of bones with the little hole in its skull, showed that that skull must have belonged to @Leviticus.
Two deaths in one night, and both in such a state that they can't have died because of a mere heart attack! Who would do such a thing? It was time to find out, and avenge the deaths of the beloved ones!
@everyone in Evil's End seemed to be happy with their new @Mayor. Everyone, except for the barber. "His name already says it," he said. "Ben the Devil. A DEVIL. In Evil's End?! If that doesn't mean anything..." So as soon as he saw the @Mayor, he grabbed his knife, and slit his head off. Quickly, before anyone could identify him, he disappeared into the shadows.
The Barber has assassinated @BenTechy66, the town's @Mayor. The Barber wants to stay anonymous.
That player will now continue to play as the Innocent.
"I know who killed <@!265936541908467724> and @Leviticus! It was @BhunaBoy," someone shouted. It was @marhjo, a man who was respected far and wide. "We know how to deal with werewolves," <@!270460050265341953> said, as he and @Legolas dragged him towards the guillotine. "Do you have anything to say," the @Mayor asked. "You are making a grave mistake," @BhunaBoy said. "You fools! I was not your doom, but your saviour! I am the fortune teller, and I was just about the mystery of the werewolves!" "That's bullshit!" Someone screamed from the back of the crowd. "@Leviticus was the fortune teller!" "@Leviticus? He was a hack. No, it was m..." @BhunaBoy gave up when his head was being put through the hole in the guillotine. "Okay, okay, maybe I was a werewolf. But do not worry. For I shall return. I, the eternal werewolf, who will come back again and again. Never will I die. Never will I lose. Neve...."* TCHACK!
@BhunaBoy's head rolled over the #s3_town_square. The town was happy! It seemed like they had found the werewolf! Hurray! I mean, he did say he was a werewolf. In which scenario could that be a bluff?
But the townsmen were fools. This wasn't over, no. All they did, was that @BhunaBoy's head made the werewolves hungry. Heads will roll, one of the werewolves howled. Let's eat some innocent meat!

The town had woken up late. It was for a reason; it's almost as if they were being put into a deep sleep. The next morning, the knew why. Three people had been brutally murdered. Nothing was left of <@!247821704431140864>, <@!271399293372334081> and <@!137268957802397696>, only big piles of bones. Who could've done such a brutal thing?
It was clear to @everyone. The curse wasn't over, and it was time to do stuff. A new @Mayor definitely needs to be chosen today. Someone will face the guillotine. And let us finally get over with the horrors of Evil's End!

The citizens did not forget his words. Was the town really doomed? They hoped it wasn't, that there was still hope for them. So many had died already, they hoped it would end soon. @everyone went to bed, hoping that it would not be them to die tonight. If only they knew, what a horrifying night was awaiting them...
The sun rose on the next morning. The people were content that their actions last evening had secured the safety of @everyone. Oddly it seemed to be true, not a soul perished over the last night. Maybe.... Maybe they had done it? If only the people knew
The town was clueless for a long time. Errr.... noone died? Then er.... who must we kill? Noone really knew what to do! Did the curse end? No, probably not. But... but...
It always happens the same way. Stuff that goes viral is never planned. That's how randomness works, suddenly a very random guy suddenly gains a lot of attention. And this time, it was <@!239602972797960193> who became famous. "I've heard he was a vampire." "Who is he, by the way?" "I've heard he's purposely so silent, because he's the white werewolf those myths have been talking about." Soon, whole Evil's End was filled with rumours about <@!239602972797960193>, and it was clear to @everyone; the town had finally given themselves an excuse to murder someone! And so they did.

Even though the @Mayor wasn't very popular the last few days, @everyone was surprised when they found @BlendedSpider's body lying on #s3_town_square. It was a shock to many that their second @Mayor alread died, after two nights! "Some say he was the barber who killed the other @Mayor, the old @BenTechy66..." Others claimed things like "The @Mayor knew everything, and he had made a powerful enemy last night..."* Whatever the reason was, @BlendedSpider was dead.
But not only him, also @Vyryn, a wealthy and popular man in Evil's End, was no longer there. Nobody knew exactly why; maybe there was more to him than met the eye...
The town was also disappointed; no, the fact that nobody died yesterday, didn't mean that it was finally over. In contrary, it has only gone worse, and it seemed like it would never stop...
The last 24 hours seemed like a blur to many. Some did not fulfill their tasks, other thought the gods had temporarily left them, others remembered things that did not happen... were they only visions? Whatever it was, @PenguinPride87 had been killed yesterday, @HurricanKai had been elected @Mayor, and after that, nothing has happened. Another night were nobody died!
Was it finally over? Or were they just, as they had before, imagining things...
This night was a brutal one. @CommandLord aka illio had been eliminated yesterday, but @everyone thought it might be over with that. But no.
Oh, the irony was great this night. @Lord of Galaxy had been pleaded guilty for something without any logical reasoning, though the outcome wasn't too bad. Same for @marhjo, the town's @Reporter! Though he was impossible to find, yet he did not survive the night; he commited suicide, after his dearest lover, @McTsts, was found dead on #s3_town_square. Does it ever stop? The town keeps getting smaller and smaller! This curse has to stop, and it has to stop today!
*"It's <@!194248487175585792> who killed everyone! We're sure of it," someone shouted, but nobody really believed it anymore. Maybe it was him, maybe it wasn't. Who knows, it already seemed like the town was lost anyway and nobody cared about the common well-being; they only cared about themselves... Good thing they haven't been killed themselves.
On the other hand, new faith had come up, as @Lilith had been promoted as the new @Reporter! She could now investigate the bodies, find out whether their previous @Reporter, @marhjo, had been lying, and who should be trusted (and who shouldn't). The town hoped they had put this power in the right hands...
No, no, no... the town kept getting smaller and smaller, and it was barely half the population that was left. Tonight, @ed588 had been killed! -sigh- The town had lost all their faith in the town, and decided to just save their own lives. Kill everyone who is the slightest bit suspicious! We'll see what we're gonna do afterwards.
No matter how dark, cruel or horrifying they are, people always seem to keep their traditions. So it was once again happening that the @Mayor had to be killed. And so it was @HurricanKai's head that was rolling across the #s3_town_square. Some of the few remainders had claimed that he was the cause of everything, and even though everyone believed them, they only hoped that it was true. They were fed up with this. They wanted to leave the town, but they couldn't. All they could, was waiting for their own death to come during the night.
Good news! The curse was finally over! Or, so they said (and hoped). In reality, all that happened was that nobody died last night. But that's basically it; the curse wasn't over, the game wasn't over, and there was still a long way to go....
Or did nobody die? It was almost as if the gods had made a mistake in the town's fate, as if something spooky called ๐ฅ ADMINISTRATION ๐ฅ had gone wrong. There was actually someone who died... poor, poor @Legolas.
Yes, it was clear that @RafMeister was the cause of all this! The town seemed to have gained hope, as their votes were unanymous against @RafMeister. It was him all along, and he has to be killed for what he's done! However, the trust issues weren't completely gone. The town couldn't decide on who should become a @Mayor. It had become so late, that at some point the town agreed to delay the vote and remake a voting on the next day.
With over half the population dead, it was not a surprise that another dead body was found. Nevertheless, the body was still shocking to see! Everyone slowly became sure of it; they were all doomed. They killings wouldn't stop, and all would be devoured before the mist surrounding the town would disappear. Everyone was sad to see @Unbihexium, their favourite beekeeper go. But more importantly, they were secretly happy to see that they themselves would get to see another day...
@Rezkin had quite a strong claim, how he would be a cult leader, how all werewolves were dead, and that all that was left, was a vampire, looking for preys in the shadows. It seems like people believed him, however! There was an unanymous vote towards @FlakeyRabin, who was said to be a warlock!
And so, @FlakeyRabin was no more. The town slowly regained hope... was @Rezkin telling the truth? Were they all saved...?
No story written? @here's a story! The night went on, and @souless_2nd died. The End! ๐
And so, @Lilith was killed, because she was suspected to be the vampire - which she was. She remained undercover for a long time. She claimed she was a runner, and somehow everybody just assumed that - other "runners" were questioned, like @PenGuIsReAl, @Vyryn, @Legolas and others... but @Lilith? Naah, she definitely was one. But she wasn't. Now that the vampire was gone, Evil's End was finally freed from the curse. @Rezkin, aka @JR revealed himself as the cult leader, and brought the town to victory. His loyal help, @Phil Inc. had to do some dirty tasks, like killing the third cultist, @souless_2nd, but, as the cult claimed, it was neccessary.
@everyone was happy that they made it out alive. Never did they have to listen to the weird spooky sounds in #s3_tavern, never did they have to fear in the night, that someone would come to kill them. The town was finally freed of its curse, and all were to go freely. Everyone lived the clichรฉ happily ever after.

Sorry for disturbing you! No, we haven't opened the signup yet, but that doesn't mean we're not doing anything! In contrary, we're working very hard on our very own Werewolf Discord Bot 40 players is almost impossible to handle, and our goal of 100 players is nearly impossible. That's why we have decided to create a bot that does the administration for us. Believe it ot not, but we're already close to finishing it! All we need is some test runs with some volunteers! Don't expect any real gameplay (everyone will know everyone's roles,the game will end abruptly, no rewards to gain), but we need some peeps to test all roles.
